One month later:
Heather's POV:
Harry and I have been getting closer lately. He still watches Zoey on the weekends and then we have dinner at his house, but now I make dinner on my days off for him and bring it over to his house. Pretty much we are either having dinner or being together at least five times a week. And what I love is that he always remembers about Zoey. There was one night that we went over and Harry had gotten her favorite ice cream for dessert (strawberry). Just little things like that that he did to show that he cared about Zoey as much as he cared for me.
It was Tuesday, and I had the day off, so I was going to make dinner for us. I text Harry to see what he wants and get a response a little while later. "Hey Heather, I'm kind of sick today and don't feel good. I don't want to get you or Zoey sick too, so I think I'll ask for a raincheck on dinner". I text back that I'm on my way over and ask if he needs anything. "No, just let yourself in when you get here because I might be asleep". That's another thing. Harry gave me a key to his house the other day. He said since Zoey and I come over so much, I might as well have a key to let myself in if he's in the shower or cooking dinner or something.
I drive over to Harry's and let myself in. I walk up to his room and see him fast asleep in his bed. I then quietly go back down to his kitchen and start making soup for him and getting a tray set up to take his temperature and give him medicine. He may be the "ER Doctor", but I know my way around the flu and how to take care of someone.
I go back up to his room and wake him up gently. "Harry Bear, can you wake up? I want to take your temperature and see what hurts. I also made you some soup if you want". Harry slowly wakes up and I put the thermometer in his mouth and check his glands while we're waiting for the thermometer to beep. His glands are really swollen and his eyes are glassy with exhaustion. The thermometer beeps and I see that he has a 101.8 fever, which isn't horribly high, but I don't want it to get any higher. I give him some medicine and ask him to eat some of his soup. He does and I can see that he's tired, so I tell him to sleep and that I'll have to go pick up Zoey from school pretty soon. He closes his eyes and he's out like a light.
A little while later, I go and pick up Zoey from school. When I told Zoey that Harry wasn't feeling well, she wanted to go over and take care of him. "Mommy, Harry takes care of me all the time, now it's my turn to take care of him. I can get my play doctor things and take his temperature just like you do for me". With that being said, we go over to Harry's and Zoey gets her doctor kit out and runs up to Harry's room to "diagnose" him.
When I get up there, Zoey is taking Harry's temperature and listening to his chest through the fake stethoscope. Harry's just sitting there patiently while Zoey does her diagnosis and I can't help but fall in love with him. Oh my God! I'm in love with this man! I haven't felt this way since Zayn died, and it feels so good to feel this way again. Zoey and I take care of Harry for the rest of the night and then leave once he's asleep. I leave a glass of water and some pills on his dresser as well as a note telling him to get better. When we get home, Zoey and I get in PJ's and go straight to bed.
