Epic Mickey Magic AU Chapter 11: A Familiar Face

Mickey and Oswald have been through many crazy adventures so far. Prescott almost got the victory he always wanted but thanks to Mickey and Oswald's new sprites and with their new powers that they've received, the battles that they'll be dealing with may be a lot tougher, but they'll always have each other's back until the end!

It was already the next day, and there was no villain in sight...yet. The sun, on the other hand, is blazing hot, meaning that summer has arrived. The sprites were planning on giving the boys some special training, but not under this condition. Right now, Mickey, Oswald and the star sprites are in the living room, in front of a fan as it was turned on so that they can cool off in this flaming heat. Ortensia came in with a cup of tea and watched the rest of them trying to stay cool. She gave out a smile.

"How do you guys get through this heat??!" Ollie asked as he groaned as laid on his back.

"Are you used to this or something??" Kyle also asked.

"Well, summer has just started, and we always deal with heat like this." Oswald said.
"We've been through worse, but this may be the worst one yet."

Kira tried to crawl her way to a nearby water bottle, but she's nowhere near that stage yet.

Mickey sighed. "There's a beach that I always go to with my friends back at home when it's usually hot."

"But you haven't been at home for seven years."

"Not helping, Oswald."

"Oh, sorry." Oswald sighed. "If only there was some way to keep ourselves cool for the summer."

Everyone sighed as they continued to sweat. Suddenly, Mickey got an idea. "Ortensia, do you have a water hose in your garden?"

Ortensia looked confused over a sudden question. "Oh, of course I do? Why do you ask?"

"I have a plan, and I know it'll work. Oswald, go get an inflatable pool from the attic."

"On it!"

Once the pool was inflated, and the water hose was ready, it was time to fill up the pool with water!

"Turn the hose on Oswald!"

Only a tiny splash of water fell into the pool. The heat was that bad. All the water was drained.

Mickey fell down on his knees. "Dang it... so much for that.

"Don't worry, bro. At least you gave us an idea for the future."

"You know what, Ozzie? You're right." He stood back up again. "Let's find another way."

Meanwhile at Dark Beauty Castle, a mysterious toon was walking through the hallway all the way to Prescott's throne where he was sitting.

"You called?"

"Ah, Fanny. I've been waiting for you."

The toon's voice obviously sounds like a girl. However, her cape was covering her appearance except for half of her large bang that's covering her face.

Back at the halls, Big Bad Pete and Small Pete were walking while they came up with mixed up schemes.

"How about we use my plants to steal all of the ice cream cones so we can cool down all summer?" Small Pete laughed.

Big Bad Pete facepalmed himself. "Dat's not what we're after, dummy! We need to get the power of the communes, so we can take over the world!"

"I will be counting on you, Fanny. You have my gratitude."
