Epic Mickey Magic AU Chapter 8: Bog UnEasy Merry-Go-Round

Just a normal day in Wasteland yet again, and what is there to start a brand new day with the people living peacefully in Bog Easy. As the musical band continues to play the catchiest tune in town, the toons enjoy themselves as they jam to the beat.

All that was really well so far, until a boat was suddenly....floating? And it was wasn't just one but all the boats around Bog Easy were filled with them floating! All the toons were all gathered and confused. They wanted to know who was responsible for this.

"What's happening? Why are the boats floating?" A toon asked.

"My house boat is flying away!" Animatronic Donald cried as he was chasing after his home. However, no one was noticing that and just focused on the bigger problem.

The ghosts then came in and wanted to know what was all the commotion that was going on.

"What seems to be the problem?" Ghost Ian asked. It caught the attention of the folks in Bog Easy. But they all had an angry look as they saw the ghosts for one second.

"You and your friends did this, didn't you?!" An angry toon growled.

"What?! No! We just got here-"

"You better fix this mess this instant!" A lady demanded as the crowd all started chattering in anger. The ghosts we're unsure of how to solve this situation. But, there were only two people that they trust and to find a way to help the innocent gang of ghosts.

"Let's get Mickey and Oswald right away! They'll know what to do!" Ian suggested.

Sometime later, our heroes make it to Bog Easy so that they can help the ghosts out and prove that they're innocent.

"Whoa...What is this place?" Mikey asked.

"I'm not so sure Mikey. B-but t-this sure has it's spooky mood!" Both Mikey and Ollie got scared and held onto each other.

"Hello! Mini-Boss Men!"

"AHHHHH! A GHOST!" Mikey and Ollie cried as they hid behind Mickey and Oswald.

Mickey laughed. "Don't worry, fellas. It's just our friend, Ian."

"You're friends with a GHOST?!"

Ian chuckled. "New to this place huh? Welcome to Bog Easy!"

"I'm not so sure about this, you guys. Are you sure he's friendly?" Ollie asked.

Oswald pats Ollie's head. "Of course he is. You two just gotta get used to this place. That's all. Anyways, Ian. What do you need help with?"

Ian tells the heroes of his situation as they walked through the village. As they passed by some angry toons, they saw so many boats flying by, and even noticed that Donald is still chasing after his houseboat. Later, they sat near the Blot Alley projector as Mickey and Oswald fed their sprites.

"So that's pretty much my story. These toons are just being rotten with us today." Ian sighed.
"Things are not looking so great since Wasteland's been getting attacked again."

"Don't worry, Ian. You can count on us to get things right again." Mickey winked.

Mikey agreed. "Mickey and Oswald are the best heroes in town! You always have to count on them!"

"The mini you is right. After all, you have saved us before."

Ollie popped out of the commune. Suddenly, he noticed something glowing on the ground.

"What's wrong Ollie?" Mickey asked.

"Look at that!" Ollie pointed at their first clue. It looked like some sort of pixie dust.

"What is that?"

"Wait! There's more of that stuff over there!" Ian pointed at a trail of the yellow glowing pixie dust.

"I think we're onto something already. Come on fellas!"

The boys follow the trail that suddenly lead to bumping into someone by the train station. They all fell down and gasped. It was none other than Pete Pan!

"Hey! Watch where you're going! Oh, well look what we have here." Pete Pan cackled.

"Pete Pan! No wonder this dust looked familiar. These boats have been flying all over Bog Easy, because of your doing!" Mickey pointed at Pete Pan.

"Dat's right! I was planning to play a little trick on you guys. And here I was making these boats floating with my little pixie doin all the work for me."

"WAKKK MY HOUSE!!!!" Donald yelled as he continued to chase his houseboat.

"And now that you runts are here, let's have some fun!"

"Pete Pan's gonna try something. Be careful, you two!" Ollie said.
Pete Pan started controlling the boats and made them come to him. They all formed like a merry-go-round.

"What the- we can't even get near him with all these flying boats in the way!" Oswald pulled his ears in frustration.

"Don't worry about it, Ozzie. I can try to use my wish magic somehow." Mickey said.

Mikey looked at Mickey. "You know what to do!"
The heroes nodded and transformed.

Mickey jumped. "Okay! Let's do this!"
Oswald jumped as well. They got on top of the boats but they forgot that they were spinning. They screamed as they were moving full speed.

"This isn't the normal merry-go-rounds back at hoooooommmmeee!" Mickey began to feel his head spinning.

"Hahahahaha! That should do the trick!"
Pete Pan laughed.

"Mickey, I'd use your powers like RIGHT NOW!!!!"

Mickey didn't want these boats to be like this forever. He simply can't! He closed his eyes and quickly used his imagination. He imagined the boats still floating but returning back to where they were before.

"Huh?! No! Not again!" Pete Pan cried.

"You know the drill, Ozzie!"

Oswald jumped. "Gotcha!"
He activated his honor bound and aggressively tackled Pete Pan. He then kicked him in midair. Pete Pan growled.

"Now you've ruined my fun!" He yelled as he retreated. As he returned to the dark zone, he stomps his foot down in anger. Suddenly, he heard an anonymous chuckle. It showed only their shadow. It seems like she was watching him the whole time.

"Seriously? That was your master plan? Pathetic. Boss isn't going to be happy about this."

"Quiet you. I already have another plan in mind." Pete Pan walks away in the shadows. However, she was creepily watching.

Back at Bog Easy, Ian happily congratulated the heroes once again. "Awesome as always boys!" Ian clapped.

"Aw, gee. Thanks Ian." Mickey blushed.

"Oh no. Thank you guys for getting everything back to normal." He showed the boys a crowd cheering for them as well. They also saw the battle with Pete Pan as well.

"Wha- where did they come from?!" Mikey asked.

"Ian, we're so sorry for accusing you." A toon said. "You and your friends were innocent this whole time."

"Apology accepted." Ian said. "Thanks again, Mickey."

"No problem, Ian! Ha-ha!"
