Epic Mickey Magic AU Chapter 7: Get in a Fight

With tiring days passed with a tough challenge of reconstructing an old home in Ostown, it was now time to start a brand new day. Mickey was now finally sleeping comfortably in a bed in the room for guests. We can tell by his snoring. Oswald and Ollie were already awake and they seem pretty satisfied with the environment of the house. Not a single crash in sight. They raced around and opened closets, cupboards, every single door.

"What's going on here?" Ortensia asked as she was woken up from the noise. Mickey was also awake.

"We're just glad that we put the pieces of this house back together again," Ollie said.

"Yeah. But it feels like your in a different home," Mickey looked around their environment.

"I'm feeling the same way as you are Mickey," Oswald chuckled.

Despite having Mickey and Ortensia woken up from their doing, they seem happy about it. They can all agree that their new version of Ortensia's house is perfect.

"Well then, let's make breakfast together," Ortensia smiled.

The boys joined in as they all went downstairs.
The three of them help each other out to prepare for breakfast as the bunny children start running around the kitchen. One of them jump on the counters and they accidentally slip on the glass plates, but luckily Mickey's foot stopped the plates from breaking.

"Nice save, Mickey," cheered Mikey. Everyone else clapped for Mickey as well.

"Aw gosh! Thank you," Mickey blushed.

While that was going on, Oswald suddenly remembered about what happened with Mickey when they were rebuilding their home. When Mickey misplaced his commune.

"How could he just forget his own transformation tool?" He thought in his mind. "He can't abandon his own pal like that! He's better than this!"

"Ozzie? Is something wrong?" Mickey asked that made Oswald gasp.

"Oh, yeah I'm fine," he responded.

"If there's anything that's bothering you, we're always here for you." Ortensia said.

"Thanks," Oswald scratched his head.

They may not know what Oswald is feeling, but he might want to tell Mickey about it soon enough. However no one was aware that Ollie hasn't gotten over it as well. He decided to bring that up again at the breakfast table.

"So...we need to have an important discussion," Ollie cleared his throat.

"Danger is coming, and we must be prepared. With Oswald's luck, we can triumph evil, with all our courage! His honor bound can kick any villain's butt! And Mickey...can be strong too! With his imagination! And stuff...and not forgetting Mikey."

"Ollie, I would never forget about him. He's my partner. And no one gets left behind, right Oswald?" Mickey asked.

"Uh, yeah. What he said," Oswald started to sweat.

"What's going on you two? I know there's something wrong when I see it" Ortensia starts to see some suspicion on Oswald and Ollie.

"Nothing is wrong!" They both said in unison.

Ortensia gasped. "Are you really sure nothing is wrong?" she asked once more.

The rabbits felt bad for scaring Ortensia and stood up.

"It's nothing. We're sorry for making a fuss," said Ollie.

Mickey and Mikey thought they needed a private talk after breakfast. They don't know if it might end well or not.
