The Attack on New York

"Holy shit" you say under your breath. Astral roars and you snap out of the trans you were in. You lean in your saddle to direct Astral towards the Avengers tower. As she flew, you dug through your saddlebag for you ear piece, finally finding it you put it in and hold down the button on it for 3 seconds before it make a beeping noise. Finally a long beep sounded in your ear signaling you were connected with the others' ear pieces. 

"Dad? Dad its Y/N. Can you hear me?" you say desperately into the ear piece before waiting for a second. 

"Y/N?! What the hell, I though you were on a mission!" tony replies in a worried tone. You knew that tone all too well and you also knew that this definitely has not the situation that your dad wanted you to be in. "You have to go back to wherever you were, it isn't safe in New York!" he tries to explain. 

"No dad! I'm staying you guys are getting your asses kicked and Astral can help. Plasma blast remember. What even happened, where did these things come from." You say as you see your Tony flying through some of the streets and motion for Astral to go over to him. 

"Kid your going to get killed." dad says. You sigh knowing the risk, but you didn't care about dying, you just wanted to help the people of New York and stop this attack. You rode a dragon through the 9 realms on a regular basis for God's sake. You could handle a few flying aliens. You look back over to Tony in just enough time to see one of the creatures shoots a beam of something out of their weapon and before you can tell Tony to move, it hits his shoulder and he starts falling to the ground. 

"NO! Astral get him!" you yell as she dives to grab your dad before he hits the ground. She levels out, gliding straight ahead instead of diving towards the ground. "Did you get him? Where is he?" You look around her shoulder to see under her and see her front legs holding his torso and you let out a sigh but then notice that he isn't moving. "Take us down girl" you motion to the floor and press your finger into your earpiece

"Guys it Y/N, Dad got hit, he's unconscious, Astral grabbed him before he hit the ground, but I don't know if he is breathing or not yet. WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING" you yell the last part still not filled in on what has attacking New York and why. Astral moves tony into one arm as she lands and places him on the floor as you jump off quickly. You are quick to remove the face piece of his mask to see if he is breathing and thankfully he is. You let you a huge sigh, but are bought back to reality when you see a flash of something fly past your face, you look up to see the creatures firing at you. Astral is quick to move in front of you blasting the creatures before looking at you and motioning her head for you to get out of the open. You try and carry your dad the best you can, but his suit is ridiculously heavy so you are slow getting out of the street. You hear a crackle in your ear as you are getting to cover. 

"Lady Y/N? Is this thing on? Hello? How does this strange device work?! Where are you I'm coming to you. What are you doing back!" I hear Thor's voice in my ear and feel relieved to getting some backup. You look around desperately trying to find a landmark of some sort to direct Thor to but it's no use, the part of the city you are in was destroyed, you couldn't recognize anything. 

"I don't know Thor, everything is destroyed, I don't know where I am."

"Wait is the dragon with you Lady Y/N?" Thor asks

"Of course she is, I'm in one of the buildings near her, she is covering us." You reply and seconds later your hear a loud bang outside the building and see Thor emerge from the dust cloud he created upon impact. Astral turns to him growling before she recognizes him and stops, turning her head toward the building I was in and giving a small nod. Thor nods back to her and she turns around to blast some more creatures out of the sky while Thor runs to the building I was in.
