The grand final

Today I woke up refreshed, ready for the day and to give the best version of myself.

A few days have passed since the night of the first semifinal and I feel fully recovered from all the work we did. Especially thanks to Jere, who was with me that night, he took care of me and encouraged me to continue.

After that we didn't have much time to talk, but we kept in contact by message. 

This afternoon I have a text from Blanca asking me if I want to have a coffee with her before we prepare everything.

We met at the principal carp where they have a very big space to relax, with a cafetería stand inside of it, some chairs with tables and some sofas and bean bags to chill on.

When I get to the carp I see Blanca already there, using her phone distractedly.

-Hi. - I approach trying not to surprise her.

-Hello! - She looks at me and recibes me with a bright smile and two kisses.

We ordered our drinks and sat down at one of the tables of the little stand.

-How you feeling today? - she asks me.

-That's a question I should be asking you!

-Im so excited!! (Y/N), I am so ready for this! We made a few changes in the scenography and I love it! - she puts both hands on his chest, excited and very happy.

-I'm so glad to hear that! I'm looking forward to seeing it.

-By the way! - she grabs my two hands. - I want you to be in the green room with us tonight.

-Me? - I say surprised.

-Yes, you! - she squeezes my hands. - I want my loved ones near tonight and I will feel more calm if you are there with me.

-Blanca I would love that! But the cameras...

-I thought about it. You can sit in the corner of the sofa when they film us. They only film the people in the center.

-But they use other portable cameras too.

-If they use other cameras you can hide behind me!

-Well... I can do that. - I laugh. - I would love to see you perform live and not through a screen so I'll be there.

-Yes, thank you, you will love it! - she pauses and looks at me carefully -Your skin is glowing today! What have you been doing? - She moves her body forward, paying all her attention to me.

-Em...Nothing special - I am surprised by her sudden interest in my face.

And she looks at me with suspicion in her eyes.

-Well... talking about Jere... - she uses "that tone" again, pronouncing the words slowly.

-No one is talking about Jere! - I say maybe too loud.

-Aha! - she points at me with her finger. - I got you, your skin told me!

-Don't be silly ! - I grasp the finger with whom she is pointing at me.

-Did you make a decision about him? - she gets slightly more serious and we let go of our hands.

I relax on my chair.

-Yes, I did. - I say it with conviction in my voice.

-That 's good. -She smiles and tilts her head a little. - Are you ready to start dating the winner of Eurovision 2023 ?
