We didn't have the time to talk about it and Jere couldn't get rid of his brother because it was an emergency.

Something had happened to someone on the Finnish team.

I know it was not serious, but I didn't get to know what exactly happened because they were speaking finnish.

Jere did accompany me to my hotel as he said, I told him it was not necessary but he insisted.

On our way back he looked a little nervous, he was keeping something for himself.

Didn't want to be nosy and didn't ask.

We arrived at the entrance of the hotel.

-I will call you later, ok? - he says agitated.

-Ok...- I can feel his concern.

He turns around and starts walking but suddenly stops and hurries to return back scratching his head, looking at the floor. He's definitely very troubled and doesn't know what to do.

-Sorry... Didn't want to let you like this I... - He keeps looking at the floor.

-Ey, don't worry, this is important... - I speak to him softly, I grab his arm making him look at me and he smiles but doesn't dare to look at me directly.

-...Did you want it? I mean... earlier... I don't want to force you to do anything you don't-

I don't let him finish the phrase covering his mouth with the palm of my hand and he stands there holding his breath, his cheeks getting redder and looking directly into my eyes.

-Of course, and I liked it... - hearing that, he slowly approaches, takes my face with his two hands and stops for a second to appreciate my face with care.

I remove my hand from his mouth.

His eyes are bright and full of emotions that he's holding back.

He brings my face closer to him and kisses me on the cheek with the same care and affection as before, not wanting to get apart.

He looks at my eyes again and then to my lips holding on to a breath.

-Go, everything will be fine...- I say, helping him to make a decision.

He hugs me tight for one last time and lets me go.

-I'll call you as soon as possible! - he shouts more energetically.

-I'll be waiting! - I smile at him.

He smiles back with a little sadness.

And he starts to run in the other direction.

Now I can feel how the skin that he touched is burning and my heart hurts.

I would love to be with him a little more, just a little...

But seeing him like this agitates me, I know I can't do anything for him at the moment.

I hope they are all okay.

I can wait.

...

Three hours later I was talking to my mother on the phone when I noticed a notification of a missed call.

-Mom. I need to do something. We talk later, ok?

-Ok darling, good look, I really want to see you.

-I'll be home soon... - but I don't want to.

-Next week you're here, right?

-Yes...

-I'm so happy for you, love. You have to tell me everything!
