Jere's POV:

Finland July 9

I'm on stage saying goodbye to the audience after performing the last song of today's concert.

Today was an intense gig. The sun was so strong, I'm sweating and feeling thirsty but it was amazing and the people were very loud and excited to see me.

When I take my first step off stage the only thing I'm thinking about is to call (Y/N).

Since Eurovision she has been as busy as me, with different gigs around the world.

I'm very proud of her, she is doing so well.

And I can't complain about myself, I haven't stopped working since then, (Y/N) was right...

Just a day ago she was in Estonia and now she had to fly again to Madrid back with Blanca, who has several performances for this year's pride event.

-Jere! - shouts my friend when I enter the backstage.

-Yes? - I distractedly grabbed a towel to dry the sweat off my body and sat in a chair.

-Do you know where your brother is? I have been looking for him all day. - he asks.

-He told me he has to do something today. -I dry the sweat off my face and neck- Do you know where I left the sunscreen?

-There, where you left it the last time. - he points at it. - He told you what he was doing?

-Ah, true.- I take the little bottle. -And no, he didn't tell me what he was doing.

-How strange... - he replies.

I don't really pay attention to what he is saying and I put some sunscreen on my chest and arms.

-By the way, nice work out there. - he gives me a water bottle.

-Thank you... - I take it and drink some water.

I take my phone, (Y/N) should already be in Madrid but when I look at my phone I don't have any messages from her.

That 's strange...

I mark (Y/N)'s phone number and I call her.

-Jere? - says my friend.

The noise in our surroundings doesn't let me concentrate. I hear people speaking outside, other music still playing on the stage, the sound of another phone ringing in the distance, my friend talking...

-Jere are you hearing me?!

-What? - I look at him without taking the phone from my ear.

-Are you calling your girlfriend ?

-... Maybe. - I scratch the back of my neck with a guilty face.

-That call will be expensive.

At that moment the door opens and Mikke, my brother, enters the room with a luggage in his hand.

With the door open I can hear the distant ringing phone closer but it suddenly stops.

-Mikke ! Where have you been? - asks my friend.

I realize that my phone is not trying to communicate anymore. I look at it with a strange face.

-Hello, sorry for the delay. I've gone to pick someone up.

He moves to one side and lets another person enter the room. I don't really pay attention and keep looking at my phone, writing a message for (Y/N).

She has been practicing Finnish so I text her in that language.

-Hi, hyvää iltapäivää! (Good afternoon)

At the hearing of that voice my body totally freezes, the only last move that my fingers can do is to press the "enter" button and send the message I was writing.

Ding*

I look up slowly.

And I can see (Y/N) standing in front of the door looking at me with a bright smile and wearing my "it's crazy, it's party" shirt.

-Hi Jere! - she says again.

I jump up, not wasting more time, and I hug her, almost making her fall.

-Careful! - She shouts and giggles.

-You lied to me! - I say tightening the hug.

-It was a surprise! - She hugs me back.

We stayed like that for a few seconds hearing my brother and friend chukling but finally getting out of the room.

-I missed you... so much. - I whisper to her.

-Me too...

We separe and look at eachother.

-I can't believe you came here to visit me!

-Not only for a visit, I'm staying for my vacation!

-What?! How many days?

-Three weeks!

-Three weeks! - I repeat.

I can't believe her, a wave of happiness rushes through my body.

I take his face with my hands and I kiss her, I can feel his lips curl in a smile against mine and it makes me smile too.

She starts laughing and I kiss all her face making her laugh even louder.

-I have so many things to show you! You're staying in my house of course! And you have to meet my family! And...

-Oh, w-well... step by step.

I see her face getting redder and I can't help but smile more at her sudden shyness.

I know perfectly fine that after spending this vacation together I will no longer be able to separate from her...
