It was four in the afternoon when the bell rang. His brows furrowed in confusion thinking who it might be. They were supposed to go to Sunoo's Birthday party in the evening. If there were a visitor at this hour, it would be a problem. He put his phone down beside his pillow and walked to his door. He opened it slowly, spying through the little slit. Surprisingly there was nobody at the door. Was it a prank?- he thought. A sigh of annoyance was about to leave his mouth when three people popped up and shouted, "Boo!"

Jake got startled and almost shouted at the top of his lungs. His eyes landed on the trio who were busy snickering to themselves. It was Sunoo, Jungwon and Sunghoon. Jake raised an eyebrow, "What was that? What are you guys doing here right now?"

"We're here to have a party at your place," said Sunoo while brushing past Jake to enter the house. Jake stared at them confusedly as one by one of them entered the house. Riki, who was doing his homework, came down the stairs with a toothy grin on his face. "You guys were supposed to come an hour earlier!" Riki whined as he set his foot on the floor.

Jake watched as Jungwon put his Adidas bag on the living room table. Must be a gift for Sunoo- he thought. "Well, if it weren’t for someone looking at clothes for two hours straight, we could've come earlier," Jungwon said as he send a side at Sunghoon. Sunghoon just rolled his eyes and sat down on the couch.

"Come on guys, it's my birthday. Don't start a fight!" Sunoo said loudly and placed all his shopping bags on the floor. Jake scanned the five bags and looked at them. "Can someone explain what's going on?"

All of them turned to Jake. Niki shared a mischievous look with Sunoo who chuckled. "We're going to have the party at your place!" Sunoo beamed in excitement as he clapped his hands. Jungwon and Niki joined the clapping.

"What?" Jake furrowed his eyebrows. He was confused and surprised at the same time. Jake scooted close to Riki and whispered, "Riki, you said we were going to give Sunoo a surprise- what is this?"

"Well...It’s a surprise?" Riki looked at him awkwardly. Jake crossed his arms with a scowl. "So instead of your surprise party, you all gave me a surprise?!"

The boys looked at each other, smiling awkwardly. "...Surprise?!"

Jake kept looking at them with a judging stare. The kids could understand that what they did was not pleasing to him at all. "You could've told me beforehand so that I could prepare and clean the house a little," Jake said crossly taking them in surprise. Riki raised his head with wide eyes, "You're not mad...are you?"

Jake stayed silent for a minute before bursting into laughter. "Of course not! Why would I be mad?" the kids shared a glance at each other in relief. "I was just, surprise you know?" Jake said as he looked through the shopping bags. The bags contained birthday decorations and balloon packets. And the others were filled with gifts for Sunoo.

"That was our intention..." Sunoo mumbled. Jake looked up, "What?" "Nothing! It's just my parents are on a business tour so Riki planned on having the party here."

"So that's what it is? Hmm..." Jake looked around the table, finding something. "You guys didn't bring the cake?"

"Jay Hyung is supposed to bring the cake in the evening," said Jungwon. "You guys didn't buy any other food?" The three of them looked at Riki. Riki looked back confusedly. Jungwon sighed, "Riki, did you forget to buy them again?"
