The loud series of knocks on his door made Jake wake up from his dreamland. He looked at the clock and frowned when it showed half past six.

Who could it be at this time in the morning?

Removing the quilt from his body, he felt the cold morning breeze hit his bare leg. He shivered but didn't bother to change the shorts into sweats while his large baby pink hoodie covered almost till his mid thighs.

Dragging his feets across the living room, Jake looked through the peephole only to find the other side whole black. This is probably Sunoo since Niki isn't here to pull pranks on him early in the morning.

Unlocking the door and swiftly opening it with his eyes half closed while he leaned half of his weight on the door frame.

"Yahhh, Kim Sunoo! Is this a time to visit someone?" Jake asked, voice coming out sluggish as he rubbed his eyes, not even noticing who really was standing at the door.

"I don't know, but I couldn't stand someone's dear son clinging to me so I had to take the baby to its mama early in the morning." If Jake wasn't awake before, he sure was now.

His eyes widened in realization when he found Lee Heeseung dressed in his formal attire, at his door, once again.

Fuck my life!!

"Hee-Heeseung hyung? What are you doing her-"

"Mom!!" And Jake was engulfed into a bone crushing hug. A smile found its way on his face when he felt Niki hugging him tightly. He too wrapped his arms around the younger's shoulder patting it before a shrill scream left Niki's mouth. His ears were captured in the hands of his beloved mom.

"Ah! Ah! Ah! It hurts!" he wailed, trying to emotionally blackmail Jake a bit but to no avail. He screamed again when Jake pulled harder.

"I warned you to not stay out late! Did I or did I not?" Jake scolded, clearly angry because of the stunt younger pulled earlier. Niki looked at Heeseung who was nowhere in sight now. Jake pulled harder, drawing Niki's attention to him.

"What are you looking at?" Niki looked at Jake for a moment. His eyes were furious but there was also relief. Niki stopped resisting and just stood there, smiling at Jake who got confused and released his ears.

"Is there something on my face?" Jake touched his face to feel any sort of thing on his face but Niki just shook his head. He took Jake's hands in his own before bowing down to match his level.

"I'm sorry, mom. I promise I will not do anything that worries you, next time." Niki smiled and pressed a kiss on Jake's forehead whose face went red but he still kept the angry face.

"You better do it." With that, Jake went inside only to find Heeseung already sitting on the couch, scrolling through his phone. He awkwardly made his way to the older, standing in front of him. Heeseung turned off his phone before looking at him with a raised brow.

Damn, why the hell is handsome without doing the bare minimum?

"Uhh…Good Morning, hyung." Jake greeted, fiddling with his fingers.

The fact that Heeseung was in his house for the second time had him nervous and his hands clammy. He saw Niki walking towards them at the corner of his eyes.

"Mom!! I'm hungry!! This old man here didn't give me anything to eat." Niki whined, side eyeing the older. Heeseung scoffed.

"You were the one who was whining like a child to go home and to tell you, I haven't eaten anything either. And, I have a meeting in an hour or so." Heeseung replied then looked at Jake.
