The night before at Heeseungs~

As soon as Heeseung hung up the call, he heard the door of his room open indicating that Niki was done showering. He then saw the younger boy coming downstairs clad in one of his pajamas and a puffer jacket since It has been getting a bit colder. Probably because winter is approaching soon.

Niki plopped down beside him on the couch before he uttered.

"Did my mom call?" Was the first thing he asked. Heeseung chuckled before nodding his head and handing the phone back to Niki.

"He did. I just talked to him." Niki simply nodded and went on his phone, replying to Sunghoon's text that he was with Heeseung now.

"You're not angry at me now?" Niki looked up at the sudden question and stared at Heeseung for a while before shrugging off his shoulder. Heeseung took that as a no and was ready to get up to go for a shower when Niki spoke up once again.

"You and mom were best of friends, right?" Heeseung stopped. The question piqued his interest and he sat back on the couch.

"He told you?" Niki simply nodded, now closing off his phone to keep it aside. He turned his body fully towards Heeseung.

"He did. But I'm still curious about some things." Niki's eyes gleamed with excitement as he pulled his legs up and sat on his knees, looking at Heeseung like a puppy asking for a treat.

Heeseung backed away a little. What exactly does he want to know?

"He told me how you guys met but I want to know how he was. I know he's the best person in this world but I also want to know how he was when he was my age."

Niki blinked his eyes in an attempt to act cute and Heeseung wanted to tell him that he was already so adorable even with height the same as him and his big body. He ruffled Niki's hair and removed his jacket before sitting comfortably on the couch.

"Jake was a very shy person when I first met him. A total loner and clueless." Heeseung chuckled and turned to face Niki who had a curious look on his face. So, he continued.

"Aside from my gang, he was the first person who became my friend. We were four years apart but he still acted mature although he was only sixteen. He would spend his free time hanging out with us and being the youngest has its own advantages."

Heeseung and Niki laughed at the same time. Heeseung had a fond memory while Niki found it hilarious that Jake was so similar to him. He's also pampered by Sunghoon all the time.

"But As sweet as he looks, his anger was worse." Niki approved that statement. As sweet as Jake's bound to be, he's as scary as a devil when he's angry. He heard Heeseung speak again.

"There was one time when I made fun of his dog, and he gave me 100 reasons as to why a dog is more faithful and precious than a human being." Heeseung chuckled at the memory.

"Really? Well he loves layla alot but what did he do?" Niki asked, curiousness bubbling up inside him.

"He made me sit on my knees until school was over and I sincerely felt sorry for making fun of his dog. And from that day onwards, I will never even think about making fun of it."

"No way! Mom was like that? But you deserve that though." Heeseung looked at Niki in disbelief. Niki then smirked at Heeseung before he asked something.

"Soooo.....did you already know that my mom had a crush on you or you were the dense type of guy who didn't have a clue about what's going on around him?"
