Chapter ??

Karl POV:

After a long ride I finally got Alex, Nick Dream and George to my parents house

"George, why won't you learn to drive already"
"I'm trying" he whined
"Whatever, we're here!" I called as I parked the car

Everyone was relieved to get out of the small car immediately running out as soon as I said that

"Wait for when we have to go back, traffic will be terrible and I am going to listen to goddamn Marina Lady gaga and Katy Perry the whole way so you can fuck off" I smiled

"Glad I brought my headphones" Sapnap teased Dream
"Shut up, I'm just going to buy some for 5$ at some random somewhere" Dream replied tiredly
"Let's just go in" I sighed

As we knocked on the door we were immediately greeted by my birth giver
"HII!!" I hugged them tightly
"Hello Karly" they hugged me back
"I'mma stick with Karlos but will definitely use that too from time to time" Alex stated
"Sure you will" I smiled "So where's dad?" I turned my attention back to my parent seeing that my dad was missing
"He went to get some cigarettes, he'll be right back, I told him not to because you're bringing friends over this year but if you don't mind then I guess I'll let him smoke" They said
"Oh-..." I looked back at my group of friends "Well, he doesn't get to smoke a lot so maybe it'll be nice to let him smoke even though we're here?"
"Okay, if you say so..." They sighed and let us in

"Are you serious Karl!?" George asked me
"Yeah, why?" I walked inside
"Whatever, it's not very healthy" he followed me keeping his voice quiet
"It's only a few times a year! Everyone deserves a break!" I said
"And that's exactly how it starts, I think you should tell your father to skip the cigarettes this year" George was genuinely worried and I understood why
"... I'll think about it" I looked down and kept going to my room placing my bag down in there

After everyone was settled and my father came home we went over to eat dinner

"So, I'm guessing the demon guy is Nicholas" My father said "The guy next to George is Clayton, and that means you musi be Alexis" my dad guessed everything correctly
"Karl, you told me he was saving hybrids, not a muffin detective" Sapnap whispered to my ear
"Eh, he's sort of both" I smiled
"Alright everyone! Let's eat!" My birth-giver set more food on the table and we all started eating

"It's delicious mx.notfound!" Dream smiled as he took another bite
"Thank you Clay!" They smiled back "Does anybody want any wine?"
I felt George's glare on me as they asked that and I quietly raised my hand, luckily I wasn't the only one and saw Alex raising his hand as well

After we were done I got up and put my dishes in the sink
"You can go outside now if you'd like" my father smiled at me
"Thanks dad" I smiled back and as I walked by him to go outside he handed me a single cigarette

I walked into the backyard, the skies were black and you could see all of the stars, I lit up the cigarette and started smoking, I wasn't doing it a lot, only once every time I came over to my parents house, it was just relaxing and I wasn't doing it often enough to get hurt by it

"Really Karl? You said you'd think about it" George walked out holding a cigarette of his own
"And I did, I decided to do it anyway" I let out some smoke
"They will find out" He handed me his cigarette to light it
"I know, but I can just say the neighbours did a fire camp" I sighed as I put the cigarette in my mouth again
"I just don't think they're that stupid" he put his cigarette in his mouth too taking it out after a few seconds with a big puff "what do you even like about this disgusting hobby?"
"It's making me feel free and relaxed" I took the cigarette out as well, it was almost done
"But so does Sapnap and Alex, right?" He turned his cigarette down throwing it in the trash
"Yeah, I guess..." I did the same taking out a gum and perfume to hide the smell and offering it to George as well
"Oh, I see you did think about it if you came prepared" George took the gum and sprayed a bit of perfume over himself
"Yeah, I don't want them to think I'm disgusting" I sighed
"I agree that what you're doing is absolutely disgusting and unhealthy but Alex literally sells drugs" George shrugged
"Excuse me?"
"Yeah, Dream and Sapnap brought some from him once but when they were already drunk and that's why Sapnap doesn't remember but I know Alex does vividly, he told me about it when you guys recorded, he wasn't sure it was actually Sapnap until he saw Dream as well, he felt really bad selling them these drugs but needed the money desperately" George explained
"Oh... So Dream and Sapnap did drugs?" It didn't sound like something they'd do
"Punz called them nerds for not doing that so he forced them to get weed and try it" George sighed
"Basic ass bitch" I was slightly amused by this
"Agreed" George laughed

We went back inside and luckily nobody seemed like they noticed the weird smell
"Alex and Sapnap went to sleep in your bed" my dad told me "and George, Dream is in the living room watching football"
"Of course he is" George chuckled and went to check on him

"Come here son, I want to ask you something" my dad told me "I get that smoking helps you a bit, and that you don't do it a lot, but I want you to try and do it even less, I just want the best for you alright? So you're only allowed one every holiday that you come visit us"
I nodded silently
"Alright, go back to your boyfriends" he smiled softly

As soon as I walked in the room I saw Alex rise up "You smoked, didn't you?"
"How-" but before I could finish the sentence he talked again
"Not weed, so that's good, but it's not healthy for you, and I don't wanna hear shit like 'I only do it when there's a special occasion' keep it 4 or less times a year" he ordered
"Yeah, I know..." I muttered
"Now go to shower, you need it, by the way did George smoke too?" He really knew everything
"Yeah, less than me though" I looked at him, he nodded in approval and I went to take a shower, I was disappointing my boyfriends already...
