Thousands of years ago a race of Aliens visited our planet with them they brought devastating weapons of destruction known as titans. The planned on conquering the human race, and nearly exterminated them. But the titan prometheus decide to protect the humans and constructed twelve titans to combat the others. These machines were called olympians, and together the twelve machines battled the titans and removed them from the earth. Now thousands of years later, the descendants of the original pilots have been brought together to fight the titans return. Led by Prometheus this group is known as the Argonauts.
In present day Greece, Jake Haro is visiting his fathers grave. He carries his grandfathers coin, which looks like a strange engine cog. While in Greece he decides to visit the top of Mt. Olympus, and spread the ashes of his mother. While at the top the area is attacked by a gigantic robot, the attack cause the mountain to shake and Jake falls into a cave. As he explores the cave looking for a way out, he finds strange metallic structures and a strange mark that resembles his grandfathers coin. Jack places the coin into the slot and suddenly a giant machine activates and sucks Jake into it. The machine flys out of the mountain and is revealed to be a giant robot. Multiple olympians units are deployed to deal with the threat, but are unable to stop it. Jake struggles to pilot the unit, but soon quickly masters it and defeats the titan.
Jake is then taken to the Argos head quarters and is introduced to prometheus. Prometheus explains what is going on and bwhat he is. He also explains that he also explains, that he has no idea what the mech that jake piloted is (but secretlly knows.). He is then recruited into the team and jake names his mech the Perseus, named after the great Greek hero. Together the Argonauts fight off the Titans and recruit new pilots.
Jake discovers that the perseus, can actually change to adapt to different environments, quickly upgrade it's weaponry, and change form for different battle conditions. Prometheus finally explains that the mech that he is flying is called the Kronos, the first titan machine designed to fight an ancient enemy. He also explains that the original pilot was a titan, and that Jake is a decedent of the original pilot.
Enraged with the failures of the recent attempts at invading earth the Titans leader, Atlas launches a full scale invasion on earht. The Argonauts are unable to stop it when Jake activates a special mode on the Perseus and defeats the titans. The titans latter explain that they were running from Oronus, an all consuming robotic system that merges with planets and takes them over. Soon Gea arrives at earth and Argos and the titans forces unite. Together they fight off Oronus' forces of giant rock golems.
In the final battle, Argus and the Titans led by Jake attack Oronus directly and engage in a fierce battle. The other unis are badley damaged and it's up to Jake to take him on directly. Jake is forced into a corner and is nearly defeated. But he then unlocks a hidden power that no one knew excisted, and defeats oronus. After the battle the titans make a treaty with the humans and return to their home, and everything ends.
