No One's POV
The dark night sky was in full view. The only thing missing from the scene were the stars, hidden away by the ever-glowing lights of Tokyo. Down below, a man can be seen, sitting on a park bench watching the not-so-starry night sky. He say in silence, memories of past traumas playing themselves out inside his head, a result of the quiet around him. He'd been waiting for a girl, someone who he had met but a week ago on a similar night to this. His pondering was cut short, as the voice of a girl could be heard in the distance. He followed the voice with his head, being met by a woman with dark purple hair, and an overly happy demeanor.
(Y/N)'s POV
Hoshino-san approached, yelling to get my attention, a smile on her face. "(L/N)-san! I'm here!" Yes Hoshino-san, I know. Even if nobody is hear, it's kind of embarrassing having someone shout your name in public to get your attention. "Please just sit down Hoshino-san, you're drawing attention to us." She approached me, sitting on the park bench and stretching a little before staring at the sky. How do even tell her? Would hurt too much to just say "lets cut ties for good"? What do I even say right now? Hoshino-san continued to stare up at the sky, even without the stars, she seemed to be in awe of the great expanse above, not paying me much mind. I was the first to break the silence, a small sigh left my lips. "Hoshino-san, I think it's best if we-" She cut me off before I could finish speaking "Hey (L/N)-san, can I tell you something?" Taken aback by the interruption, I nodded. "I've never known love, (L/N)-san. When I was a child, my mother was a single parent. She hated me, and when the police arrested her for stealing, I was sent to an orphanage." Listening to her speak, seeing her face, I could tell this wasn't something she was willing to tell many people.
"When her release date came, I expected that she'd come get me, and that maybe we'd return to some form of normalcy. But... she never came to get me. Years would pass, and the hope I had that she'd come get me disappeared. Something about all of what she did broke something inside of me, I no longer knew what it was to love. When Ichigo-san recruited me, I didn't know what he saw in me. I was believed that idols had to love their fans, and I knew I wouldn't be able to do that." I can sense the sincereness coming from her words, she wanted to care but she couldn't. Hoshino-san turned to face me holding a look of apathy and determination. "I am a liar (L/N)-san, every time I say 'I love you' to the crowd it's been a lie. Every time but once. That one time was towards you. You are the only one besides Ichigo-san and the other idols in B-komachi I think I can be honest with." She begins to scoot closer, her face near inches away from mine. "So (L/N)-san, would you believe it a lie when I say I love you?" Hearing her words, I felt like I had been flashbanged. What was I supposed to say? I came out hear to propose cutting ties, and I'm now being asked out by one of the fastest growing idols in Japan.
Is it really alright if I follow the feelings? What will she think if I told her my past? My head was abuzz with activity, I had to say something. "Hoshino-san, before I answer, I've got to tell you something as well." Backing away, she listened intently. "Hoshino-san, I've never lived a good life. I grew up in a thoroughly abusive household, day in and day out, it was either a beating, being locked or outside for the night, or..." I shuddered to continue, the words not willing to leave my mouth. "...worse. I only got away from it six years back, when I was eight. The two were killed in a car accident. Truth be told, when I heard that they had been killed, I had never been happier. Life only got worse for me from there, no one was paying bills so the house was taken and I lived out on the streets. I lived that way for the next three years, until my manager found me..." I let out a sigh, looking away from Hoshin-san. "In those three years, I did some pretty bad things. I don't really feel comfortable talking about them now. But after hearing my story Hoshino-san, do you still want to associate with me?" I waited for her to tell me that I was disgusting, and that she wished to never see me again, but it never came. "Yes! Why would I judge you for your past? As weird as it sounds, we're in the same boat. Shouldn't we paddle together?" At this point, she was a but a few inches away from my face, I could feel her breath on my lips. As we sat nearly on top of each other in silence, we kept eye contact, our faces creeping closer. At this point, the space between us was barely an inch, her star-like eyes being the only thing in my sight. With her being this close, I could no longer deny my feelings, I whispered, "Hoshino-san, I'm in love with you." With that declaration, our lips met. Despite being our first kiss, it was heated.
No One's POV
The kiss held for quite a while, and resulted in a small trail of saliva forming between the two. The two lovers separated for much needed air, breathing heavily. The world around them seemed to disappear as they stared into each other's eyes with a mix of new found love and lust. Breathing heavily, Ai was the first to speak. "(L/N)-san, please stay with me for a bit longer." (Y/N) had no intention of leaving without AI to begin with, so he happily obliged, meeting her lips once again. Tonight would be a night to remember for both of you.
