"Two hours since the exam began. We've traveled more than 30 kilometers.
No wonder why applicants dropped out already." Iris thought, as she kept her pace to stay with Gon.
"If my calculations are correct, we should be nearing the end." Thought a short boy with a tiny computer in hand.
"We are nowhere near the end." Thought Iris.
"What the hell was I thinking? You've gotta be a monster to pass the Hunter Exam and I'm surrounded by them." Thought Leorio as he began to sweat and pant.
Suddenly, a white-haired boy skated past him. "Hey, wait up, kid!" Yelled Leorio. "Hm?" Said the boy.
"How about you show a little respect for the exam." Shouted Leorio.
"What do you mean?" Asked the boy. "I mean, quit using a damn skateboard. That's cheating." Yelled Leorio.
"How's that?" The boy asked. "How?" Repeated Leorio. "This is an endurance test, that's how." Yelled Leorio.
"No, it's not." Said Gon. "I disagree, Leorio." Said Iris.
"What are you babbling about now, Gon? Iris?" Leorio loudly asked.
"The examiner guy only said we have to follow him." Said Gon.
"He didn't say anything about an endurance test." Continued Iris.
"Hey! Who's side are you on, anyway?" Leorio asked.
The boy skated towards Gon and Iris.
"Hey, how old are you two?" Asked the boy.
"Twelve years old." Answered Gon. "Fourteen years old." Answered Iris.
"Huh?!" Yelled Leorio, Kurapika, Gon, and the boy. "Hmm? What is it?" Asked Iris, confused by their reactions.
"You're only fourteen?!" Asked Leorio.
"Yes? Do I not look like it?" Iris asked, feeling offended.
"We can't really tell by that blindfold." Said the white-haired boy.
"And you're height." Added Kurapika.
"I thought you were 16." Kurapika continued. "Oh." Said Iris.
Killearn flipped his skateboard. "I think I'll run for a little while." He says.
"Woah! Cool!" Gon laughs.
"My name's Killua." The white-haired boy introduced.
"Hi, I'm Gon!" Gon responded. "Iris." Iris Shortly introduced.
"Damn kids! You're not going to make a fool out of me." Thought Leorio.
They continued running for 2 more hours.
"It's been about 4 hours since the First phase began. It's been 60 kilometers. I don't think were nearing the end anytime soon." Thought Iris.
Leorio panted heavily as he sweated. "I don't stand a chance. What the hell was I thinking? Damn it." He Cursed. He dropped his briefcase, making Gon pause.
Killua and Iris turned to Gon. The three of them stopped. "Hey, forget about him. You've got to keep moving." Said Killua.
Gon merely stared at Leorio. "Gon?" Called out Iris.
"Man, screw this! I'm becoming a Hunter, no matter what!" Leorio screamed as he sprinted to catch up.
"Damn it all!" He yelled as he sprinted past us.
"He's quite fast, isn't he?" Said Iris.
Gon smiled. He took out his fishing rod and took Leorios briefcase.
"Got it." He says.
Killua gasped in amazement. "That was awesome!" He praised.
