Lizz's POV
"Where are we going in the morning babe ?" I yawned
"Just wait love"
"Ummm I wanna know but--we'll be there soon anyway" I rested my head on his back and wrapped my arms around his torso, Its early in the morning its just 7 am and I'm really sleepy but he planned something better for us, my parents were up but I lied to them that I'm going to school early to do some research about an assignment.
After few minutes I opened my eyes and realized I'm in woods, we're back at our peaceful heaven "The woods ?" I smiled
"Yep" he smiled back and parked his bike at a safe place, we both climbed off and started walking "so can I ask now why are we here ?" I asked him while he interwined his hand with mine
"I have a Surprise, close your eyes " he ordered, I obliged and followed him he carefully lead me through the way, I tried my best to peek but I can't, I just know if its in woods it's going to be beautiful "now slowly open your eyes" I heard excitement in his voice but instead of slowly I instantly opened my eyes
"Oh my God" I gasped "how the fuck I didn't know this existed here" I looked over to the small pond...its in the middle of the wood, its the most unexpected thing to find in LA
"And...we have food"
"Food ?"
"Yeah" he went near the pond and revealed a picnic basket which was hiding behind a tree from our point of view "the view, you and the food seems perfect to me, oh by the way I cooked" he smiled proudly
"You cooked ?" I chuckled
"Yeah I can cook" he pouted, he's looking so cute
"You're so cute" I joined him and kissed his jaw
"Hey I want one on my lips" he pouted again and I kissed him softly on his lips "now we can enjoy"
"Where's the mat Nate ?"
"Mat ?"
"To sit Nate" I said "you forgot didn't you ?"
"I--yeah" he ran his hands through his hairs
"No problem" I sat on the grass "Its fine to just sit on the ground it means more than anything to me that you did this much for me"
"Are you sure ? Your clothes might get dirty"
"Its fine to me Nate now come" I tugged his arm and he joined me.

Me: Wanna watch a movie or something ?
Nate: or something sounds fun
Me: N..A..T..E 👀
Him : what ? An innocent boyfriend can't do or something with his girlfriend
Me : Innocent ? You ? 😂
Me : That was a good one I'm coming
Nate : Aren't your parents at home ?
Me : They are
Nate : still you're coming Aren't you scared that they'll catch us ?
Me : Ummmm No
I grabbed the essentials I may need and went downstairs to explain my little lie to my mom "Mom I am going to Morgan's house" I shouted while opening the front door, I am using Morgan's name since last few weeks and mom always falls for it so why not ?
"Wait" Mom shouted from the kitchen
"Shit" I murmured "I have question Why are hanging out with Morgan a lot ? I know you guys have school work but its late darling" she said
"I know but its really important, like I never go to library in the morning but I did because its important"
"Oh, sorry my mistake but still you never showed such interest in an assignment ?"
"Yeah I never did but this assignment is like really really important"
"Oh ok" she whispered "love you" she kissed my forehead
"Love you too mom Bye" I finally escaped my house and made my way to Nate's window. I use his window mostly can't take any risks "Nate ?"
"Yes Lizz ?" He's resting on his bed "come here" I climbed up on his bed and straddled him, I wrapped my arms around his neck
"I missed you" I kissed his forehead then his cheek, his jaw, his neck, his lips "I would've died if you weren't my neighbor" I kissed the tip of his nose.
"Me too" he whispered and holded me "anyway I'll put up the movie" I climbed off him and sat beside him
"Which one ?"
"Some movie called Nerve"
"I have never heard of it"
"Same but Drake said its one of the best movie he has ever seen, so I guess we should watch it...we can watch something else if you want to"
"Nah its fine" I smiled, Nate grabbed some snacks for us from his kitchen and rested his head on my lap while we watched the movie "please don't sleep today" I chuckled and ran my hand through his soft hairs
"I won't"
One and the half hour later, we both were stunned because it was actually a good movie with a decent story "How the heck I didn't knew this masterpiece existed ?" He said
"How the heck I didn't knew Dave Franco is so hot ?" I said
He chuckled "so got over with your crush on Tom Holland ?"
"Noooo, Never"
"If you had a choice you would date me or Tom Holland ?"
"What ? Is that even a question ?" I asked and he smiled "ofcourse I would date Tom"
"I hate you'' he grabbed the pillow beside us and threw it over my face, it hit my face but I was busy laughing. Nate pinned onto the bed and got on top of me, he grabbed both of my wrists and pinned them over my head "you love teasing me" I nodded, he went down and kissed my neck softly "oh lizz" he whispered then kissed me softly on my lips.
"Stay with me you're not going anywhere just be with me" he hugged my waist and rested his head on my chest, I placed my hand over his head
"What will I tell to my mom ?"
"Just tell her you're having sleep over with Morgan or you're not done with the project or make any excuse but please stay" he stayed at his position and I managed to pick my phone and call Mom while staying there.
"Hello lizz done with the assignment do you want me to pick you up ?" I heard her
"No No I just wanted to inform you that I am sleeping over at Morgan's tonight"
"Ok but suddenly Is everything alright ?"
"Yeah everything is fine, our assignment is near the completion so we thought to stay up all night and do everything"
"Oh how many hours it'll take ?"
"Umm we'll be up till I guess 1.30 or 2"
"Ughh ok fine keep texting me and updating me"
"Yeah Mom, Thanks Goodnight"
"Done" I hanged up the call
"Good" he intertwined our hands and kissed the back of my hand "Now lets watch Divergent" I nodded he started the movie, we have already watched it multiple times so instead of watching we talked, he told me more stuff about Cali, he can talk forever about that place It kinda makes me want to visit it but--I sometimes think about his ex and his old life and the thought makes me wanna puke with disgust.
"Lets sleep its late" I whispered and he yawned
"Yeah tired as hell" he rubbed his eyes
"Goodnight love" he kissed my forehead
"Goodnight"
