Time to Open Presents!

A few days later!

Amy's POV

I couldn't get over how Sonic booted me from the team. . .but it wasn't the ONLY thing on my mind, I mean. Today was CHRISTMAS! And i think Shadow will like the gift i got him, even though I had to work overtime with the police station the past two days for a raise it was worth every minuet just to know I got him the perfect gift!

And The party was today! Every one was invited! Yes, even Sonic. . . I mean, I didn't go all out on him like I did most of my friends. . . BUT Shadow's friends are coming to town too, Silver and Blaze, he just told me to get silver the movie called "the Matrix" and Blaze some "Cat nip." So I got them that plus every one got a stocking, and a few gifts from me. . . I hope it's enough. . . Maybe I can call off the party for a few hours to get a bit more?

Ding Dong!

"Hey Amy, It's Tails and Espeio! He's freezing his scales off out here!"

Tails said and knocked on the door.

"It's open silly!" I said forgetting about last minuet shopping and pulled the turkey out of the Oven while Shadow rushed downstairs with more neatly wrapped gifts that he had gotten the others. I was surprised he was able to find something that he thought would appeal to everyone so last minuet and cheep.

Espeio walked in with at least three coats on, putting them all on the rack while Shadow put more presets under the tree and organized them so that they formed a tunnel around the train, then waved at our guests, just as more people started to arrive.

I quickly set the table, but when a Silvery white hedgehog bumped into it everything went up in the air-

Then was surrounded by a green aura, and placed neatly back down.

"Silver, Blaze, Nice to see you guys!" Shadow said given a Purple cat a hug and Silver a hug as well. "Yeah, sorry about that miss, lucky for both of us I make up for my clumsiness with telekinesis." 'Silver' said with a nervous smile. I nodded with a sigh of relief.

"I'm Amy, nice to meet both of you." I said and shook their Hands as my old best friend Rouge stepped through the door with a butt load of presents. "Hey Rouge, Long time no see?" I said with our old catch phrase. She smiled and Knuckles took over half of the presents from her and put them under the tree. "Thanks." She said to him and walked into the kitchen with a sniff and an "Ahh" of delight.

"I see you haven't lost your gifted touch of cooking?" She asked with a smile and her brow raised. I shrugged with a smirk. 'What can I say? Mom was a good teacher." I said and she hugged me, I hugged her back and we all set the table up more with candles and holly.

Eventually Sonic, Sally and Sticks came through the door with presents, smiling at everyone.

"Sorry we're late, Egg man decided to get his butt handed to him today." He said jokingly. A few people laughed and we all sat down at the table to eat and talk.

I sat down between Shadow and Rouge, and Silver sat on the other side of Shadow, and Blaze followed him. Tails, Knuckles, Cream, and Espeio all sat beside each other as we all dug into the food. Silver was talking about something with him fighting a giant sock monster, and Shadow was rolling his eyes repeatedly while laughing.

Blaze switched seats to sit next to me and Rouge, and Shadow took her spot so the boys could be loud with one another I suppose. I learned a lot about how her and Silver were dating, and how Shadow had helped them in the past.

"Yes, he is helping me around the house. He doesn't have to though. I always go out and come back to see the house looks better than when i left." I told them both. Blaze nodded with a giggle. "He never cleaned when he lived with me and Silver when we were a team against Memphilis, when we got home all he would do was sleep and make a mess." She said. Rouge and me laughed with her.

After we all ate we left our plates out and gathered up in my living room, letting cream and Vanilla open their presents first.

Vanilla opened one of mine first, that was more for Coco than her, It was a toy carrot tether for when his front teeth would start coming through.

"Amy, that is so considerate of you." Vanilla said and hugged me. I hugged her back as Cream opened hers, It was a whole package of stuffed dolls of each of us, that were hand made by me, needless to say the box was huge, and the first one she puled out was the newer made Coco. "Thanks Ms Amy! They're so cute!" She said and snuggled the Dolls close to her.

"Alright! Every one get a present and say cheese, Tails will take the pictures while I show shadow his present!" I said and grabbed his hand, dragging him out the door to the garage. "What did you get me that couldn't fit into the house?" He asked confused as he looked at the box surrounding the present I had gotten him.

I picked up the pull-away string and handed it to him. "You'll see! Here, Pull it." I told him and smiled. He looked at the string suspiciously and tugged on it.

The sides fell away to reveal my present!

Shadow's POV

I defiantly was not expecting this from her. It was a motor cycle! Not just any either, It had red streaks and looked freshly polished with custom made handle bars that reared back, and a leather jacket with spikes and a red swirled symbol for the back logo sat against the seat, along with sunglasses and spiked biker gloves.

I looked back to Amy, who was smiling happily. "How did you know I was into bikes?" I asked her amazed. She shrugged. "It seemed like your type of thing. Do you like it?" She asked me. I nodded. "It's amazing, How much did this cost you?" I asked now with worry, no way she got this thing cheep.

She shrugged. "Not telling, but it's all yours." She said and hugged me. I hugged her back and we both walked back into the living room.

Silver was holding up his copy of the matrix HD with directors cut and bloopers, and Blaze looked like she had her nip, Sonic has only one present He hadn't opened that I noticed, same with Sally and Sticks, every one else saw Amy and ran over thanking her and me. . . I had only really gotten everyone something like a gift card or a phone. . . apparently they liked phones and gift cards.

Amy walked over to Sonic without her smile. . . Was she upset with him still?

She said something and he sighed, then opened the box and pulled out a blue scarf that looked hand made. He smiled then grabbed his stuff and left, not saying anything to his team, he just left. . . Amy looked back to me sort of upset and didn't say anything- she only handed me another box.

"I don't know if you'll be upset that I fixed the doll I found in your room, but I did. . ." She said. The doll!?

Oh no, Not Maria's doll!

I ripped the lid off of the box and looked at the newly repaired doll. . . I don't know why i was worried that she had messed up her dress, or original design, it was a perfect replica of Maria.

"Are you okay?" Amy asked me, interrupting my thoughts. I nodded and held back the tears threatening to come out. "This. . . This doll just means a lot to me." I said and pulled her in for a hug.

Every one else gave Amy and me an odd look with raised brows, Silver was giving me a thumbs up.
