Chapter 1

*Elena's p.o.v*

It's been 5 months since I took all the information in about my life and how it's a mess, I don't mind though unless people are trying to kill me. I'm always protected, I don't mind though it's better being safe then being dead and having your best friends deal with the grief. Stefan's my boyfriend and he's a vampire, Bonnie's a really strong witch now, Caroline's a vampire thanks to Katherine, Matt's just Matt. I just found out about 2 months ago that I had a twin sister that was taken from me when I was a baby so I have no idea what she looks like, Probably like me but we could be fraternal twins but I don't know anything about her. I want to meet her one day. Hopefully when I'm or She's not a vampire or dying. I only met the one and only Katherine Pierce twice, Both of the times she was trying attack me, But the first time we met I caught her off guard and we just stood there looking at each other in shock, Then she heard Stefan come down the stairs and she bolted out the door. The second time was when she pinned me against a locker choking me at school saying all this stuff about how I should die, Since I apparently stole her life and she also said and I quote "How come my shadow self is living a better life then me? you get to be happy and I have to be always running? Oh that's right because you stole my happiness and my happily ever after, That won't be a problem once your dead" then the bell finally rang and people started coming out of class I was thankful she took off again and I haven't seen her since. I live in the Salvatore boarding house with Stefan and Damon it wasn't safe at my house so I'm staying here with Jeremy. Where only Jeremy and I can invite certain people in. I have to be carful who I let it in. Anyway that's my life. It doesn't get easier than that. I wish it did.

I woke up in Stefan's arms as usual his chest is really comfy and I love it there. he's comfier than the whole bed. If Stefan was a vampire like Edward Cullen and he read my thoughts he would actually realize how much I think about him and how much I worry about everyone and everything. He would notice how scared I am if certain people find me. I snuggle closer to Stefan as I lay on his chest, It felt nice to be safe and protected by him. He finally woke up. "Good Morning Beautiful" He said kissing the top of my head. I blushed like crazy and said good morning back smiling. I look up at him and he kisses my lips softly then pulls away after awhile. I blushed again and rested my head on his shoulder. That moment was perfect I thought to myself. Nothing can destroy this mome-Then Caroline rushed inside breaking me out of my thoughts, telling us something's happened and we need to get downstairs fast. I spoke to soon. I got off Stefan and got up and he did the same. We both went downstairs and saw Bonnie, Caroline, Jeremy, and Katherine sitting there.
"Aw would you look at that, The perfect couple has finally arrived" she said sarcastically. She used her vampire speed to try and get to me but Stefan stood in front of me protecting me.
"Protective I see" she said smirking
"Why are you here Katherine?" He asks in a tone.
"I just came to see my doppelgänger" she said sarcastically and smirked stroking my cheek.
We all rolled our eyes.
"I came to give you information, Klaus the original vampire is coming for Elena also her twin sister but I don't see her anywhere here so I guess he'll find her first, But he's getting close, He's coming to mystic falls in 2 days to look for Elena or Nina and use them as a sacrifice so he can be an immortal hybrid which is Vampire and Werewolf mixed. Once he kills either of them he can easily make new hybrids and turn into a wolf whenever he wants. Tyler was his first successful hybrid but he's trying to make more but one of you needs to die" She says walking around the room looking in my direction. I was in shock, I knew people were after me but not to kill me. My life's really messed up.
"We'll protect her" Stefan blurted out.
"You can't protect her forever Stefan only one of you lives that long" She spat out. She's obviously jealous because she still loves Stefan. She then vanished.
"W-We need to find my sister now!" I yelled looking towards Bonnie.
"She needs to be protected to. She's my sister and I would like to meet her and see what she's like." I said pleading. Bonnie nodded her head, I'll try a few spells. I nodded and said Thank you to Bonnie. She nodded then took Jeremy's hand and were out to work on spells. Caroline then said she needed to take care of her mom and she vanished. Me and Stefan were home alone. Wondering where Damon was but that's not to important Stefan and I had the place to ourselves. I went into the kitchen and sat down on the barstool next to the table. Stefan made me coffee and some pancakes. He always cooks for me in the morning. He puts the cup of coffee and pancakes in front of me. I then say thank you and start digging in. I was starving. I finished my plate of four pancakes in about 2 minutes. Stefan and I then walked over to the couch and sat down.
"What are we going to do about this whole klaus thing" I asked
"We don't worry about anything right now, We still have 2 days to worry about it. right now I just want to spend time with you" he said smiling I smiled also and he kisses me passionately, laying on top of me, We made out for awhile and I took his shirt off, He was about to do the same to me but Damon walked in.
"Ew guys get a room seriously on the couch? People sit there you know" he said pretending to be disgusted. Stefan threw a pillow at him. I giggled and Stefan got off me. I sat up and Stefan put his arm around me and I laid on his chest. Damon was upstairs taking a shower and I decided to watch tv with Stefan. After a couple of shows I went upstairs and quickly got changed out of my pj's. I changed into skinny jeans a white tank top and a red t-shirt over it. I went downstairs to find Damon and Stefan drinking a glass of bourbon. I didn't mind it helped with the cravings. I only minded when Damon got drunk. I went over to Stefan and he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer to this side. We filled in Damon on what happened with Katherine and what's going to happen when Klaus comes to town. Bonnie knocked on the door and came in. I ran over to her and I gave her a worried look to see if she found my sister. She said she did I was happy and relieved. She said she saw a vision and she's coming I mystic falls tomorrow. I was really happy. After 17 years I finally get to meet my twin sister.
