Chapter 5

*Elena's p.o.v*
Skylar made a huge entrance tonight. How could Stefan and Damon not tell me they had a sister? I was angry, They said no more secrets. This had to be the biggest secret yet. I looked at Stefan seriously one last time before heading upstairs to call Nina. I dialled her number and after two rings she picked up.
"Hello?" She answered
"Hey Emma. Is it okay if you come here or I go there?" I ask
"What's wrong Elena?"
"Stefan and Damon lied to me again. Their older sister payed a visit tonight. I'm also scared she's going to hurt me, Can you come back and stay?, Please?" I ask in a worried tone.
"Yeah, sure Elena I'll be there in a bit" she says and hangs up, I was surprised, I didn't think she would come at this late hour. It's almost midnight and she decides to come. For me. A knock on the door breaks my thoughts and I go and answer it. Nina was here, I let her in and we went to her bedroom. I talked about everything that had happened and apologized for everything. I was about to cry when she hugged me. We hugged for awhile until Stefan came in. I didn't say anything I just gave him a look. I think Nina did the same.
"Elena? Can I talk to you alone for a second?" Stefan asked
"Whatever you say to me you can say to her" I spat out.
He looked hurt by the way I said that. I felt guilty. But I was mad at him.
"Look Elena, I was going to tell you at some point. I know it was wrong to keep this from you but I thought she died, It was a touchy subject for me to bring up and I didn't know how until I was ready, I am sorry Elena" He says looking right past me. I get up and hug him.
"I'm sorry for getting mad I should have known it was a touchy subject." I say into his shoulder, He then hugs back. Nina left the room to find Damon because she was bored. I think she likes him, Every time he comes into the room she stiffens up and I can tell he makes her have butterflies. I'm happy for her.

*Nina's P.O.V*

I was in my hotel room when I got a call from Elena to come back because she was upset. It was midnight but I didn't care, She needed me. I packed my things and checked out heading to the house. I arrive at the house minutes later and knocked on the door, I shouldn't of knocked on the door it's basically my house now but I wanted to be polite. Elena answered and we went into my room. We talked for a couple of minutes about how she feels and I hugged her. Then Stefan walked in and I left them alone and went to see Damon. I walked into the living room to see Skylar I presume sitting on the counter and Damon on the couch.
"You must be Nina, Hi" Skylar says as she walks over to me. She pulls my hair back leaving my neck bare, I get nervous and scared, She was going to bite me. She sniffed my neck before piercing her fangs deep in my neck. I let out a scream, She's almost got all my blood, I could feel the room getting dizzy and blurry and Damon rushes over to Skylar and pushes her to the ground. I collapse on the floor next to her. I'm still conscious but barley. Damon rushes over to me and bites into his wrist feeding me his blood so I can heal. It heals fast but the scar of her fangs are still there, But I get up with the help of Damon. Stefan and Elena rush downstairs to see what happened since they heard a big thud. Stefan runs to me with vampire speed causing me to jump a little.
"What the hell happened?" Stefan asked
"Why don't you ask her?" Damon says pointing to a smirking Skylar.
"You bite her?! What the hell is wrong with you?" Stefan runs over to her and pins her to the wall. He isn't strong enough so Sky pushes him off her sending him flying across the room.
"I was hungry she came in at the wrong time, Plus something about her blood smelt amazing, I haven't smelt something like that before, So I went in on it. I tried to stop but her blood was so good." Skylar said smirking causing Stefan and Damon to get furious. Skylar walked over to me with vampire speed and I jumped. She sniffed me again. Then went to Elena and sniffed her.
"There's something up with Nina, I thought it must of been the doppelgänger blood giving it the smell and great taste. But Elena smells just like a human. And Normal. But with Nina it smells different and not human but human like she's half human or something." She says looking at the two of us. Stefan and Damon experiment sniffing us. I was really confused. Why was my blood so special.
"Get Bonnie she might know a spell to see what's up with her" Stefan says to Elena and sitting me on the couch. My necks all wrapped up and I have a massive headache. And my stomach hurts. After a couple of moments Bonnie shows up with her spell book but before she comes over to me I bolt out of the room and into the bathroom and puke my guts out. Damon rushes over to me to see if I was okay. He grabbed my hair and as I was about to flush the toilet something caught my eye. It wasn't vomit I was throwing out. It was blood. My neck started hurting really bad so I took the bandage off and the mark was magically there and still bleeding a little . The vampire blood worked but then didn't work. Damon noticed and looked at me concerned. we then went downstairs and told Bonnie what had just happened. Bonnie did a spell and noticed what was up with me. I wasn't human. I was a vampire. Half human and half Vampire. It was never possible until today. That's why my blood was rich and the vampire blood wasn't working.
"But I never craved blood before" I said to Bonnie.
"I know you haven't, But you will. It says here that when someone turns into a vampire a witch can slow down the transition, so I'm guessing someone slowed down your transition. It says here that The side effects may cause; Vomiting of blood, Vomiting out vampire blood, the urge of blood, getting really dry throat, headaches, dizziness and sometimes death." Bonnie said reading what the book said.
I was worried and scared.
"It says here that half Human and Half vampires have only limited time before there body shuts down, Also some of the other side effects mean sometimes your body responds as a vampire then as a human the next. And you don't die and come back as a vampire soon you will die and be gone forever, You just have to die" Bonnie said looking at me.
I just stood there frozen.
"When or how will her body respond as a vampire?" Damon asks.
"Well Nina will cough up blood then have a dry throat, Be craving blood, drinks it and then reacts to the blood as a human moments after. It's like a switch. One switch vampire and the other human. She can't control when her body responds as a vampire or human. But she will turn into a vampire soon. That or she'll die." Bonnie answered Damon. We all stood there shocked.
"Hey I have an idea. Since the rituals tomorrow night I can sacrifice myself to klaus, I come back as a vampire and me and Elena both live. It's a win win." I say frowning. I don't want to become a vampire but I have no choice now, since it's literally in my body.
Everyone agreed to the plan. The plan is on and I will die tomorrow night and turn into a vampire.
