The battle of Demons

Chapter 1

 "Do you Jerrianne take Matthew as your lawfully wedded husband?" asks Brother Mark. Jerrianne looks at her parents mentally begging them not to make her do this. They just stare at her, she takes the hint and takes a deep breath then turns her gaze back to Matthew who is staring sadly back at her. She takes one more deep breath and weakly says 

"I do." 

"I now pronounce you man and wife, you may kiss the bride." Brother Mark says feeling the tension in the air. Matthew looks at me, I'm in the back of the church staring at them in pity. I return his glance with an apologetic smile. Matthew sadly turns back to Jerrianne, and places his hand on her cheek and leans in then gently kiss her lips. A burst of applause roars through the church as I begin to remember why they're getting married. They are both royalty and their lands are going to war, so their parents are making them get married for peace between their kingdoms. I snap back to reality when Katie calls my name 

"Angel." I look at her and she's staring at me like I'm crazy, and after a few seconds she asks 

"Are you coming to the reception?" I smile at her and say

"Now when have I ever turned down a party." 

"Never." she says holding out her hand. I take it and for the first time all night I notice that she's wearing a dress.The dress is white but has red splattered all over it, it's supposed to look like blood dripping on a white sun dress and it looked very nice. Jerrianne and Mathew came up with the idea of the bride's maids' dresses,me and Katie were both bride's maids we were just regular bride's maids though,one of Jerrianne's other friends was the maid of honor.

"I never thought I would see you in a dress." I say looking at her in amusement. She gives me a face of delight.

"I know and I never thought that I would like being in a dress either." We both laugh and head out the door.

  We're at Katie's house and it's almost 5:11 pm, Katie and I go to change out of the dresses we are wearing into something more appropriate for a party. Katie puts on her favorite pants and that playboy 55 shirt that shows half her belly. Katie is a fairly tall girl with curly black hair, and she is skinny, she says she's fat but to be honest I would kill to have her body. I'm just as tall as her but I'm bigger than her,I have short light brown hair. I decide to wear some nice jeans and a T-shirt I don't really like to get over dressed I will if I have to. 

"Hey." A sad voice comes from behind us as I turn around I see Jerrianne. Jerrianne has strawberry blond hair and she's kind of tall and chubby. 

"Hey Jerry,there shouldn't be any sad faces on a wedding day." I say knowing full well that she has every right to be sad. She looks at me like she's going to slap me and I back off.

"Calm down J. she was just kidding, you need to take a chill pill." Katie says in my defense.

"I'll calm down when I can be with the man I really want to be with." she says and with those words walks out. When she was gone Katie and I look at each other and shrug then followed her out.

                                                                       *1 Hour Later* 

 Out on the dance floor Katie leaves me to go off somewhere with Logan, her boyfriend. I'm standing there all by myself next to the big tree listening to 'Crazy in love' I start to get lost in the melody. I'm standing there and I start to sway I close my eyes and I open them when I feel someone touch my hands. I open my eyes and I see Katie with a big smile on her face.
