The battle of Demons

Chapter 5

                                                                 *Time Skip To Dreamland* 

I'm in a cage and all I can hear is laughter the cage starts to get smaller and smaller I can feel the air being squeezed out of me. 

I'm awakened by the sound of my alarm clock going off, my eyes pop open as I gasp for air and sit up in bed. I realize that it was just a dream, I reach and shut my alarm off and get up to get dressed for school. It's 6:30 and I'm in the kitchen making me some pancakes when the phone rings.

"Hello." I say still a little a shaken from my dream last night.

"Good morning sweetie whats wrong?" My mom's welcoming voice comes through the phone.

"Good morning mommy I just had a bad dream that's all how are you." I say as I reach for a plate in the cabinet, before I know what happens I drop the phone and plates are falling along with the cabinet itself. I pick up the phone out of the pile of broken plates on the floor, and wipe the little bits of broken plates off the screen.

"Hello,are you there?"I ask grabbing the one plate that didn't brake and put my pancakes on it.

"Yea I'm here what happened?"She asks with concern in her voice.

"The cabinet fell and a bunch of plates broke, but I'll clean up when I get home later. I miss ya'll." I say as I get the syrup out of the fridge.

"We miss you too baby girl, you should come visit this weekend and see everyone again." She says with excitement in her voice.

"You know that's a great idea I'll use some of my vacation days at work, I've been wanting some time off I think I've deserved it. OK it's settled I'll see you this weekend. Oh my God is it already 7:00, mom I would love to talk all day but I'm going to be late for school I'll call you tonight love you and can you tell dad that I said hey and love him." I say as I throw my empty plate in the sink and run to get my car key and purse. I hear my mom celebrating in the back ground over the phone, then I hear dad ask why she's acting that way.I only hear murmurers as I get in my car.

"He says hey and love you too, we can't wait to see you, OK I'll let you go honey bye." She says with more excitement than when she called.

"I love you bye."I say as I start the car.

"Bye peaches." I hang up the phone and start on my way to school.

                                                                   *Skip To Second Class* 

I'm in second period and Emily passes me a note we sit right next together so we don't get caught.

"Hey Angel how did your coffee date with Eli go?" I start to cry in the middle of class.

"He broke up with you again?" I nod my head as she walks around my desk and hugs me tightly. This wasn't the first time that me and Eli have gone out, the first time we went out was a year ago. The first time we broke up was so painful I knew that I shouldn't have gone out with him again, but I guess I was so lonely that the way he was to me was the only way I felt I deserved to be treated. Fifteen minutes passed and I could feel myself slowly falling asleep. 

                                                          *Time Skip Brought To You By Nap Time*

I see a familiar face but it is very hazy like I haven't seen it in a while it starts to clear up but I am awakened before I can see what they look like,but when I wake up a name pops into my head 

"Brandon."I say as I sit up.

"No it's Emily."She says and asks 

"Who is Brandon?" 

"I don't know I've heard the name before I just can't remember where."I say as I lay back down on the table that I have been placed on.

"Well I can help you figure out who he or she is." Emily says going to sit down in a chair next to the table.

"Really,how?" I ask as my interest and curiosity over come me.

"Yea there is a spell that I learned that helps regain lost memories it should work unless it's one of your visions that you get." She says and reaches into her book bag and grabs a small book that says Magic Spells for Beginners 

"Hold off on that please you can come over to my house later, not right after school though because I have some stuff to do first. You know what I'll call you and tell you when to come over OK." I say as I get up off the table and check my phone for the time.

"OK Angel while you're at home you can look around and see if you can find anything that can help figure out who Brandon is." She says as she puts the book back.

"I will I got to go I'm meeting Brother Mark and his wife at DQ's for ice cream." Emily's eyes get big when I say ice cream.

"Oooooo,can I come with you?" She asks looking like a child asking her mom for some ice cream. 

"Oh how can I say no to that face." I say as I wrap my arms around her and hug her tightly.
