~time skip one month~
It's been a month since I got stabbed. I've been getting better but sometimes I get a sharp pain in my stomach. My parents have been here helping me and Lexi out with Aaliyah. She's gotten so big already.
"Good morning babe." Lexi wakes up and kisses me.
"Good morning love." I tell her and smile.
"How do you feel?" She asks me. She's been asking me this questions every morning.
"I feel good, I'm energetic today." I say and get up.
"Just be careful and try not to move too fast Andrew."
"I won't don't worry." I go over to her and kiss her forehead. I walk over to Aaliyah's crib and grab her.
"Good morning princess." I say and rub her back.
"She's getting so big already." Lexi says and reaches for her. "Come baby." I give her Aaliyah and sit down next to her.
"When do you have your next appointment?" She asks me as she rocks Aaliyah.
"It's tomorrow actually. I'm getting the stitches removed." I reply.
"Okay. I'll ask your mom if she could watch Aaliyah while I take you to the appointment." She says.
"Alright, Are they awake yet?" I ask her as I get up to check.
"I don't know I haven't heard them." She says and gets up too. We walk out of the room and go to the living room to see my dad watching tv and my mom making breakfast.
"Good morning guys." My mom tells us as she flips pancakes.
"Good morning, how long have you guys been up for?" Lexi asks them as she puts Aaliyah in her swing.
"We've been up for like an hour now." My dad tells us as he plays with Aaliyah.
We talk with them and eat breakfast around 10:30. After we ate we sat down in the living room. Then there was a knock on the door so Lexi went to see who it was. I overheard her talking to someone for a little and then she called me over.
"Andrew can you come please?" She tells me so I get up and walk over to her.
"What's up?" I ask her and look at the person outside the door. It was Jaden. I froze once I saw her. "What the hell are you doing here? How did you even find my house?"
"I'm here to tell you that you have a daughter." She tells me and points at the car seat on the floor.
"What?" Lexi says and looks at me.
"Jaden that isn't my kid." I tell her and look at Lexi.
"Yes it is Andrew. I haven't been with another guy other than you." She says with a bitchy look.
"We never had sex though. So that isn't my kid." I say getting frustrated.
"Yes it is." She says raising her voice.
"Look if Andrew says it isn't his kid then it isn't." Lexi says trying to calm Jaden down.
"It's his, so just I came for you to help me care for her by giving me money." She says.
"It's not my fucking kid!" I say getting mad. "I'm not giving you shit, so get the fuck out of my house." I tell her trying to close the door.
"Let's do a DNA test to see." Lexi says as she crosses her arms. She looks mad.
"Fine. We'll do it tomorrow." Jaden says.
"Okay now get the fuck out of my house." I tell her and close the door. I look over at Lexi and see a tear run down her cheek. "Hey, why are you crying Lex?" I ask her and caress her cheek.
"Did you actually have a kid with her? Just be honest with me." She says as more tears run down her cheeks.
"I didn't. We've never had sex before. I swear to god that isn't my kid." I tell her and hug her. "I swear that isn't my kid Lexi, I promise you."
"I believe you." She says and wipes her cheeks.
"Come on, let's just forget about it until tomorrow." I kiss her forehead and she looks up at me with a slight smile. We walk over back to the living room to my parents and Aaliyah.
"Who was it?" My mom asks us.
"It was Jaden. She came over with a baby and was claiming it to be mine." I tell her and roll my eyes. My parents look at me with wide eyes.
"Is it yours?" My mom asks me.
"No!" I reply angrily.
"Mijo, calm down. Are you guys gonna do a DNA test?" My dad tells me.
"Yeah they're gonna do it tomorrow." Lexi tells them and looks down.
"It's going to be okay honey." My mom comforts Lexi.
"I thought I wasn't going to see Jaden ever again but now she shows up at my door." I say as I pace back and forth.
"Babe calm down please." Lexi tells me and grabs my shoulders.
"She just stresses me out. Why can't she leave me alone?" I say and put my head in Lexi's neck.
"We just have to see her tomorrow but after that we're not going to have to see her every again." She tells me and kisses my cheek. Then Aaliyah starts to cry. I go over to her and carry her.
"I'm sorry for scaring you princess." I say and rub her back. "You're the only little girl I need in my life." I tell her and kiss her head.
"What about me?" Lexi says and walks up to me.
"You too babe." I kiss her. Jaden is crazy if she thinks that that girl is my kid. She would always be going to her "friends" house when we were dating so I wouldn't be surprised if that guy is the father.
