"Andrew are you ready to go?" I hear Lexi ask me from outside our room.
"Yeah I'll be out in a sec." I say as I fix my hair. Today I'm getting my stitches out which is exciting but at the same time I'm dreading it because it's gonna hurt like shit. We're also going to see if Jaden's baby is mine. I'm 100% sure it isn't but she keeps saying it is. She's so annoying.
"I'm ready to go." I come out the room to see Lexi holding Aaliyah.
"Okay your parents are taking care of Liyah while we're out." She tells me as we walk downstairs.
"Mami ya nos vamos." I tell my mom. She walks over to us and reaches for Aaliyah.
"Drive safely, and remember Andrew, don't stress too much." She tells me.
"I'll try. Bye princesa." I Tell her and Kiss Aaliyah's head.
"Bye baby. Bye Karla." Lexi says and smiles. She's been getting more comfortable with my mom. She hasn't talked to her mom since the gender reveal. She's been a bit quiet since yesterday.
"I'll drive lex." I tell her and take the keys.
"Okay but I'm driving on the way back." We get in the car and drive over to the hospital.
"Are you ready to get the stitches out?" Lexi asks me as we go inside the hospital.
"Not really but I have to." I laugh a little. A nurse brings us to a room and tells me to take my shirt off. I take it off and she starts to disinfect my cut. Then she grabs a small knife and tweezers to take off my stitches.
"Oh shit." I say as she pulls the stitches.
"Does it hurt?" Lexi asks me and giggles.
"Hold my hand please." I tell her and grab her hand.
"Don't be a wimp." She says and plays with my hair.
"This wont take long." The nurse tells me. She finishes pretty quickly and bandages me up.
"See? It wasn't that bad." Lexi tells me and smiles.
"Thanks." I tell the nurse before getting up.
"Okay Mr. Davila. Your next appointment is in two weeks." She says as she reads her clipboard.
"Alright thanks." I tell her and we walk out. "Now we just have to go to the DNA place."
"Yeah but don't stress about it too much. Now give me the keys." I toss her the keys and get in the car. We get to the place and see Jaden waiting outside with her baby.
"Finally! You guys took forever." She says in an annoyed tone. I just roll my eyes. We go in and go into a room to get tested.
"What are we looking to find today?" The doctor asks us.
"We wanna see if I'm the father of her kid." I tell him.
"You are but whatever." Jaden says and bounces the baby on her leg. Lexi stands next to me and holds my hand.
"Okay I'm going to use this swab and rub it on the inside of your mouth, hers, and the babies." He says as he puts the swab in my mouth. He does the same for Jaden and the kid. "Now we put the in here and we'll get the results in 15-30 minutes."
"So we just wait?" Jaden asks.
"Yes you guys need to wait here. I'll be back." He says and leaves the room.
"I don't know why you would want to do this. I mean look at her, she looks just like you!" She says and points at the baby.
"Just wait until we get the results." I say and put my hand on my face. Lexi puts her hand on my back and rubs my back. Then I get a text from my mom.

"Aww look at Aaliyah." I show Lexi.
"Aww my baby." She says and puts her hand on her chest. Jaden glances at my phone but i catch her and put my phone away. Lexi tries to talk to Jaden but she just ignores her and looks away.
"It's okay babe. Just don't talk to her." I whisper to Lexi and hold her hand. She lays her head on my shoulder and closes her eyes.
After waiting for like 30 minutes, the doctor comes back in to tell us the results.
"Sorry for the wait guys, DNA tests take a while." He says and gives us an envelope.
"It's fine. Can we open it?" I ask him.
"Yes of course." He leans on the cabinet. I look at Lexi and she nods her head. I carefully open the envelope and.....
No DNA matched with me. As I thought.
"I fucking told you." I say and give Jaden the envelope. "I'm not the father."
"Wait what? Then who is- What?" She says surprised.
"Its probably one of the guys you used to spend the night with." I tell her and get up. "Thank you so much doctor." I tell him as we leave. Lexi follows behind me. Jaden comes out a few seconds after us.
"Andrew! Wait!" She calls out to me.
"What Jaden?" I turn around.
"I just wanted to apologize for putting this shit on you. I've always been a bad girlfriend." She says and looks down.
"I'll forgive you if you leave me and my family alone. I hope you find her father and get help." I tell her and get in the car. We drive off and head back home.
"I'm so glad that wasn't my kid. I knew it." I tell Lexi in the car.
"Yeah I'm kinda relieved too. I mean I would've supported you but I would've been a bit mad." She says and looks outside the window.
"I can't stand seeing you upset Lexi." I caress her cheek. She looks at me and smiles.
"I can't stand being mad at you either." She kisses me. "Now let's go home to our little girl." She holds my hand as I drive. "I still can't believe I actually had to hold your hand when you were getting the stitches out." She says and laughs.
"It hurt like shit lex." I laugh too. We get home a few minutes later and saw my dad asleep on the couch and Aaliyah asleep on his chest.
"Aww she loves her poppa." Lexi says and takes a picture of them.
"Where's my mom?" I ask her and then my mom came out of the bathroom.
"Oh good you guys are back. How'd it go?" She ask us.
"I'm not the father as we thought." I say and shrug.
"That's a relief. I only want one grandkid right now." She says and laughs a little.
"We saw how the both fell asleep." Lexi tells her.
"I know. I just didn't want to wake them up." My mom smiles.
"They're so cute." Lexi says and puts her hand on her chest.
