It's been a little over a week since I first met Audrey and I have to say, I feel like a dick for not wanting to meet her at first. She's kind, and wasn't judgmental when I told her about the stuff I'm into, which is always a good sign, and has a really cool job. In fact, she stuck to her promise of showing me some of her work. She came over for dinner the other day and brought over a big sketchbook full of tattoo designs that she drew herself. There were all kinds of drawings of faces, animals, plants, and other complex patterns. Her art's so good, so full of detail, I'm a little jealous. Audrey's really cool, and I can understand why Dad's so head over heels for her.
"Hey, you still listening to me? I'm trying to ask you something." Tommy's voice chimes in, pulling me from my thoughts.
"What? Yeah, yeah, I'm listening." I turn my attention back towards him. He's sitting criss-cross on the grass in front of me, clasping his hands together.
"Are you sure? 'Cause it seems like you're off somewhere else." He teases, narrowing his eyes at me.
"You know you always have my full attention. Now, what are you trying to ask?" I inquire.
"I was wondering if...you wanted to go out sometime. Like, on a date, I mean."
My heart skips a beat at the idea of us finally going on a date. "Absolutely! Where would you want to go?"
Tommy's smile widens. "Well, I didn't really think about that part yet, but maybe...we could go see a movie? How about tomorrow after school? I'd do it tonight, but y'know, I got detention today."
Right, detention. He told me about it earlier, apparently he got in a fight with some junior who was bothering a girl during Lunch. "Yeah, sounds perfect. I can just tell my dad I'm going to a friend's to work on a project." I smile brightly at him.
The bell rings, dismissing us from school. "Great, we can plan this out later. See ya." He gives me a quick kiss on my cheek goodbye. Finally, my boyfriend and I are going on our first date. I start heading home, eagerly awaiting tomorrow night.

Tommy is standing by my locker when I arrive, eyes pointed down at the floor.
"Hey." I greet him cheerfully. I woke up in a surprisingly good mood today. Maybe it's just because I'm excited for tonight.
"Hey..." He greets me back with a short, nervous laugh. My smile falters when I notice how upset he sounds.
"So, about that fight I was in yesterday, uh...I kinda got grounded because of it. Sorry, but that movie's gotta wait."
Ah, damn. I was really looking forward to tonight. Oh well, it's not the end of the world. "That's okay. As long as it happens, I'm fine with waiting a little bit."
"I know. I figured I wasn't gonna get off completely scot-free, but I'm kinda bummed out, I was really excited for tonight." He tells me. I open my locker and stuff my backpack in, going to grab my History stuff when Tommy speaks up again.
"Actually, now that I think about it...we don't really have to wait for that date." He grins at me, a devious look growing in his eyes. Whenever he gives me that look, I know he's planning something mischievous.
I close my locker and stare up at him, confused. "We don't? What are you talking about?" I can't hide my suspicious tone.
"Let's do it now." He beams, holding out one hand.
"Huh? What do you mean now?!" I stare at him, my eyes wide with pure disbelief.
"I mean, if we can't go out tonight, then why don't we say fuck it and ditch school for the day?"
