Chapter 3 - Fights

Nai's Pov:

A week later

After that interaction I've seen the blonde boy around but didn't get around to talk to him and honestly, I wasn't interested in talking to him. I got ready for another boring day at school but luckily its Friday.

Today Finn said he was going to walk to school since it isn't far from our trailer and he's fourteen he's old enough to walk to school, so I let him.

I got on my skateboard and went to school. I finally got to school and hoped off my skateboard and was heading into the school building when all of a sudden, I heard people chanting 'FIGHT, FIGHT , FIGHT' and I got confused as to who was fighting at 7 in the fucking morning.

and then I headed to the crowd of people in the parking lot yelling 'FIGHT. FIGHT, FIGHT' and I saw two guys fighting, one of them looked familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it.. and then the familiar guy turned around and I realized who it was. Chapin Bronx. Oh. My. God.

I watched in pure shock until the teachers came to break it and take them to go the principal's office. The whole day no one could stop talking about the new guy fighting already a week into school. It was so annoying I felt like I was going to scream at any second.

'Maybe you're just being a little dramatic' said Mina

'I am not being dramatic it's just annoying how this little white boy rolls up into our school and already thinks he's the shit by starting fights, talking back to the teachers, riding his little motorcycle like UGHHHHH' I said completely frustrated at the fact he's already made a name for himself a week into school while it took me a year.

'Maybe your just upset because for once you're not the center of attention here anymore' said Mina sounding nervous that she said that since she usually keeps quiet.

'What?' I told her.

'Yeah, I mean you have ALWAYS been the center of attention here and everyone gossiping about you and being the known for being the girl nobody fucks with that now someone like you rolls up into our town and takes the crown away from your head and now, you're just mad.'

I looked at Mina in utter shock of the fact that she actually said that to me I mean, she's supposed to be my best friend and now she's talking to me as if I was a bitch that was nothing but full of herself which I am not.

'Listen if you're not going to be on my side then don't even bother to talk to me."

'Wait what? No, I am on your side its just-'

'I don't care I am done having this conversation.' I said to her and walked away from her. I am just so fucking mad right now at everyone and I don't even know why.

'Hey Nai!" I heard someone say my name and I obviously turn around to see who it is and its Katherine Johnson, Maybank's very own scam artist. Great now what does she want.

'What' I said sounding annoyed

'Soo I am hosting this party at my house which everyone is coming to get absolutely wasted and I just wanted to know if you want to come and don't get ahead of yourself because I wouldn't usually invite you, but I know if I tell everyone you'll be there the whole school will come, so what do you say?'

I look at her considering the offer, but I needed to know something real quick.

'Will the new guy be there?'

'Chapin Bronx? oh of course that would be rude of me to not invite him."

"Then sure, I'll be there.'

'GREAT then I'll see you there byeee" She says as she walks away.

Oh, this is going to be so fun.
