"Thank you professor Fig for being willing to take me and Lola to Hogwarts" My sister Fauna says with a smile as we walk up to the carriage.

"It's my pleasure. It's about time for the both of you to be in Hogwarts." Professor Fig says as he looks towards me.

"Especially you Lola. I've heard great things from your Mother. You may be ahead of your class in fact." He says with a smile then he gestures his arm out and opens the carriage doors for us to get in. Both me and Fauna walk in and sit next to each other across from professor Fig. As we take flight to Hogwarts from England, after visiting my mother Tabitha, Professor Fig starts Asking Fauna some questions about how she went about learning magic since it isn't known for women on our fathers side of the family to know magic. Yet My Mother taught me how to be a witch from a very young age. I look out the window as they talk away.

"Lola, Rumor has it that your mothers maiden name is Black. Is that true?" He asks in shock.

"Yes, but me and my Mother grew up away from them since she was so in love with our father." I say rolling my eyes and looking back out the window.

I hear him let out a soft sigh and start talking to Fauna again. I don't bother paying attention to what they are talking about. I enjoy the views from the sky. All of a sudden, we hear the coach man says, "We're going to have to make an emergency landing. One of the thestrals has taken ill."

Professor Fig nods to him and we start to make the landing. Thankfully we can see Hogwarts from here.

"You should be able to get to Hogwarts from here. Safe travels to you three." He says while tipping his hat and leaving to care for the sick animal.

"That poor thing" I hear Fauna say. I roll my eyes at her comment and wait for our next move.

Professor Fig looks around us and says, " Ah, we are in the North Hogwarts region it seems. I know our way from here. We should make it in time or the sorting ceremony if we are quick." The three of us make our way to the castle. As we walk in, Professor Fig changes us into the school uniforms as he points to where we are supposed to go. Fauna walks behind me as we hurry over to the group of students waiting to be sorted into their houses.

The Great Hall is bigger than I anticipated. It's all very overwhelming with all of these students. I walk down the hall with my older sister Fauna. It's almost my turn to be sorted. As I see the previous student, a first year, gets sorted into Gryffindor. I then sit on the stool and the headmistress places the sorting hat on my head. I can't help but to glance over at the Slytherin table and I see two familiar faces but it's hard to make out who they are. I shrug it off and try not to think too much of it.

AFter she puts the sorting hat on my head, it says, "Hmmm. Interesting"A Bit older than the others aren't you. I sense a strong urge for power from you. Antsy aren't you. Ready for adventure." I reply, "I'm ready to continue learning about magic and I look forward to exploring Hogwarts."

"There's lots to discover inside, and outside of Hogwarts. Hmmmm very ambitious you are. Perhaps you belong in Slytherin! I take a sigh of relief and get up off of the stool as my robes change to the Slytherin robes. I don't bother looking for my half siblings. The other students cheer as I walk over to the Slytherin table and find a seat. I remember the people I saw earlier this evening, but I couldnt find them. I watch as my sister Fauna gets sorted after me. She looks excited as she always is about something new like this. I let out a quiet sigh as her enthusiasm exhausts me. "Ravenclaw!" I hear the sorting hat announce. I Was surprised she didn't get sorted into Hufflepuff like our older brother Caspian did. I watch her as her Robes change to blue and her walk to her Ravenclaw Table. After headmaster Black dismissed us, I followed the head boy of Slytherin down to the common room to unpack my things. The next morning, I got dressed and made my way to the common room. As I walked into the room, I saw another student my age pacing by the fireplace with a book in hand. I couldn't help but notice a boy by the windows looking out at lake Marunweem. I look a bit longer at him and realize that's the boy I recognized yesterday in the Great Hall. I sit down on the couch by the fireplace and I write in my journal until classes start. Later that morning I leave the common room and walk into my first class of the day, Charms class. I see the blond boy from the common room I saw earlier not thinking much of it. I look around for a seat and hear a young lady's voice
