"Wheres that husband of yours?" Agnes asks as we sit on her porch. Its been 3 months since..that happened. Wanda divorced vision a month ago and shes been at mine more often with her boys to help with my kids. She stays over most of the time too. I've started dressing in outfits that feel more me too.

I shrug and I feel wanda placing her hand on my thigh. "I haven't seen him since he went on that trip a while back.." I tell them. I feel wanda's hand moving further up my thigh until it rests on my clothed core. I give her a look and she smirks at me.

"Audrey have you ever thought about the fact he may be having an affair" Pepper says. I whimper out as Wanda rubs my clothed clit. "I..havent...thought about that.." I sigh out moving wandas hand to hold mine. "Well-" Pepper starts to say.

We are interrupted by flashing lights coming down the street. "No sirens..someone's died" Agnes whispers out as we stand up. I squeeze wanda's hand tighter and she sends me a worried smile. "Its gonna be okay" she mouths.

The police cars stop outside of my house and I walk over. "Wanda watch the kids.." I shout to her and she nods. I get to the cars and two police officers walk over to me. "Ma'am are you Aubrey Potts?" The woman asks and I nod. "We are sorry to inform you but we found your husbands body in a river. He was murdered. His car was found burnt in the woods nearby." The man tells me as he lowers his hat.

I stare at him for a few seconds as my face drops. Tears form in my eyes as I let out a sob. I feel a hand on my back and I spot wanda's shoes from the corner of my eye. We have always practiced incase this happened. I would act distraught and she would soothe me. Then when questioned we went through what I have to say.

I'm helped up and I'm put in the back off a police officers car. I watch out of the window as wanda watches us drive off. As I sit in the interrogation room I place my elbows on the table. I run my hands through my hair as I sigh.

The door opens and a man walks in. "Ms Potts I'm Detective Smith. I'm so sorry for your loss. I have to ask you some questions." Smith says as he sits opposite me. I nod and I lean back in my seat. "When was the last time you saw Michael?" He asks. I sigh out slightly "uh...God..it must have been about threeish months ago..he had dropped our sons at their grandparents and I was at home with our daughter. He came home in one of his moods and said he had a buisness trip..packed most of his things and left".

"Was that the 23rd of November? His parents told us that is when they last saw him" Smith asks and I nod again. "How was your relationship with your husband?" And there it is. The question I've dreaded. Wanda and I agreed I would tell them about the abuse if this ever came up.

I sigh and I look down at my hands "it...was good to begin with..we were in the honeymoon phase as some may call it. Then..he started getting harsh..he would make comments about things he didn't like..on the weight I still had left over from our first two children to my outfits and things I did".

"Did Michael hurt you at all?" He asks. I nod slowly "there..uh..were times I had to send my kids over to my neighbour wanda's so they didn't see him hitting me.". "Other than Miss Maximoff was there anyone else who knew about this?" Smith asks. I look up at him and I nod "Agnes Harkness. She found out a while back".

He nods and stands up "thats all Mrs Potts. I had an officer bring your car here. And again..im sorry for your loss". I nod and I walk out. I sit in my car quietly as I drive back home.

I park in the driveway and I stay sat in the car. My head rests on the steering wheel as tears escape my eyes. I sit up and I slam my hands against the horn part as I shout "FUCK". My horn starts beeping constantly and I panic.

As I'm trying to get it to stop I hear a tap on my window. I wipe my eyes quickly and I look up. "Pop the hood" Wanda mouths and I nod. I climb out the car as she pulls something out of my car "You will need to get this fixed honey". I nod and I rub my eyes as I lean against my car.

Wanda walks over to me and looks around to make sure no one is there. Her hands hold onto my hips and she leans against me. Her lips press against my forehead and I feel myself starting to break down again. My head rests on her shoulder as tears run from my eyes. I sob into her hold as her hand runs through my hair.

We hear a few doors shut and a few mumbles. Footsteps get closer to us and I feel wanda pulling me closer to her. I hear Peppers voice "Audrey we are so so-". Wanda cuts her off my dragging me inside my house. I catch a glimpse of my neighbours stood looking shocked as the door is slammed shut.

"W..where are the kids..d..do the boys know?" I ask in a shakey voice. Wanda sits on the sofa and pulls me to sit sideways on her lap "They are with pepper..and they don't know. Harry and James.. know its something to do with their dad being gone but Danny i just enjoying staying in morgans room. Hannah is fine..been sayingclose to mama lots so I think she misses you". I nod and I lean against her.

After a few minutes of silence I whisper "can you take the kids..I..if the police figure out it was me...c..can you take them?". Wanda presses a kiss to the top of my head and I hear her let out a shakey sigh "Thats not going to happen. I won't let it. But..if it did come to that..of course".
