chapter 4 ; officially yours
amir x chika
It's been a month since me and Amir became a couple. The funny things is Gabbie and the rest of my friend doesn't know about it yet. I just want to see how Gabbie react if I told her im dating Amir for a month now. Probably left her speechless. Now, here im back at Manhattan at my apartment with Lily and Erika. Erika supposed to be in LA living with his boyfriend now but since his boyfriend currently at Japan shootinh something i don't know, she's staying here in our apartment.
"Yo, Chika. Do you wanna go grab some pizza?" Lily asked me.
"Hmmmm, sure let's go there. The usual place."
"Nice. Erika do you want to go grab some pizza down the street?"
Seems like there's no respond from Erika. Wonder what's she doing in her room.
"Hey, Erika! Did you hear me?"
She opened the door and looks like she was playing Residents Evil 6.
"Oh, Im sorry. I was streaming earlier. What? Pizza? Oh nice let's go then!"
"Wait, you're gonna leave the streams like that?" Lily asked.
"Im already ended the streams it just i went playing it back for a while."
"Let's go then!"
We all then walked down the streets to go to our local pizzeria. It's our favorite pizzeria since we were child growing up in New York. Lily is ordering cheese pizza and pepperoni pizza. Just like usual. While waiting on our order, i noticed some two other giy waiting on the counter to pick up the pizza. Seems familiar.
"Hmm Chika, what are you looking at?" Lily asked me.
"Oh.. uhhh nothing hehe."
"You're very suspicious this few months you know"
"W-what? what do you mean?"
"You're literally hiding something for us, isn't it?"
"Nah bro, just tell us!"
"I-i ummm"
Amir's POV
Hmmm, that girl look familiar isn't that Chika? Wait. I forgot my girlfriend is here oh dang it. The fact that most of my friend doesn't know about me and Chika and Mierul is here Oh my goodness. What should i do!
"Wait, that guy looked familiar over there at the counter!" Erika looked over that counter.
"Looks like someone that Gabbie show us last year.. am i tripping or.."
I gulped. What's he doing here? I should do something! Don't wanna tell them yet about me and him.
"Errr, guys I wanna go to the toilet first."
I signalled Amir to go to the back so Lily and Erika couldn't see us.
"What are you doing here!"
"Sorry, I wanna surprise you with something but i didn't know that your friend is here."
"You came all over here to see me?"
Amir nodded. I can see his cheeks turned red a little bit.
"Oh my goodness, tak payah lah fly sampai ke New York nak jumpa saya. I could just fly over to Malaysia to see you. Kenapa susahkan diri sendiri awak.."
"But.. I don't want the media knows about us.. Im currently blowing up right now. Kalau saya bagitau yang saya tengah date awak, then.. my fans gonna hate me. Probably I got a lot hate!"
I stayed silent for a moment. A sudden flashback just went through my mind. It was back in 2018. I dated my best friend and short after that, more people know and he get a lot more hate then leading us to breaking up. How cruel internet can be. They're literally destroyed my relationship with him.
"I.. sorry Amir.. I pun sebenarnya tak nak bagitau pasal our relationship. Sebab.. nanti diorang bagi hate kat saya. Especially awak. Awak tu rising artist."
"Let's keep our relationship a secret now. Tak nak bagitau diorang for a moment. Whenever you or me ready, I bagitau diorang. If anything happens, I will protect you, okay sayang?" he cupped my face with his both hands.
"Okay! So, let's meet up at the central park after I eat!"
"Okay, sayang. Anything for you."
After I left the room in the back. Lily and Erika just looked at me.
"Where did you gone though. It's been like 15 minutes. The pizza will get cold though if you don't finished it up!"
"Fine! Im sorry im having a explosive.. diarrhea.."
God damn it, I need to lied to them with these type of excuse. Chika, You're literally doesn't have any excuse beside stomach pain and diarrhea.
"Probably because you eat alot of Taco Bell last night!"
"Hahah probably.." I shrugged.
"Come and sit!"
I sit on the chair and eat the pizza. Taste like just back in the days. After we're all finished our pizza, Erika went back to our apartment straight ahead. Lily went to see his father and his company there. Perfect opportunity to go date with Amir now!
I pulled my phone and called Amir.
Amir! Where are you? I'm waiting for you at the Central Park.
On the way, sayang. Mierul just go sightseeing with Nik. So we can go there now. Tunggu kejap.
Okay! Im waiting for you.
I hanged up my phone and waiting for Amir showing up. Meanwhile I sit on the bench and scrolling to my Instagram. Seems like Ellie and Nadhir having a fun time. Same goes with Jessica. They're literally having so much fun without getting any hate. Oh I wish it was me. Probably one day. I heard someone was calling me. I looked back it was Amir.
"Hi awak. Dah lama ke tunggu?" Amir smiled at me.
"Yes! I'm waiting for you for so long!" I pouted.
"Dah janganlah merajuk.. Tak comel kalau merajuk!" He pinched both of my cheeks.
"Okay fine.. can we go now?"
"Okay! jom jalan-jalan dengan cinta hati saya" Amir winked at me.
He took my hands and holding it while we were walking at the Central Park. Everything felt like a dream whenever i'm with him. I still wondering in the back of my mind if his fans will accept me and our community too in the Twitch. I wonder how much longer we're gonna keep this relationship secret. I think we just gotta find out soon!
