Season 3 Chapter 17: The Skills of Class A

Both Todoroki and Daisuke stood back to back as they watched the group of ninjas for any sudden movements as Daisuke asked the white and red haired teen. 

Daisuke: Todoroki? What area are we in right now? 

Todoroki: It’s some sort of factory area. It’s kinda similar to the one at U.A, but it’s different. Why? 

Daisuke: Just asking. ‘With how every school here watched the sports festival, they probably know how powerful Todoroki’s flames and ice are. But they have no clue on how to block my Quirk… I’m a new face!’ 

He shouted in his head as he activated the gauntlets, as light blue flame-like whips emerged from the ends, as the ninjas were taken aback at it, except for Todoroki. 

Daisuke: Todoroki, let’s use this time and do a dual attack with our flames and your ice. 

He said as Todoroki simply nodded as Daisuke’s smile grew even bigger as he slammed the flame-like whips on the ground, creating a large flame dome that covered the area the two were at, as the ninja’s were frozen in place as the two dual haired teens were the ones who were unaffected. 

Todoroki: What is this power? Flames are able to freeze time for opponents while we’re fine. Can you explain?  

Daisuke: Well, during the week long practice for ultimate moves, I discovered that my phoenix flames are more powerful than regular flame Quirks, so I created these gauntlets to use half of my flames to create any type of weapon I can think of or do what you’re currently seeing. Now, we need to find a different spot before the time limit goes. 

He explained as Todoroki just nodded as he used his flames to push the frozen ninjas back as the flames created a smoke screen that was used to trick the ninjas. As they were gone from the area, the flame dome disappeared and the freed ninjas used their quirks on the smoke screen thinking that they were still there, but they were shocked to see that they were already gone. 

Red Ninja: Where’d they go? 

As the group of ninjas searched for them, Todoroki and Daisuke were already far away as Todoroki was running along the pipes as Daisuke flew over his head. 

Todoroki: The Heroes Public Safety Commission must’ve made a factory like this for the test on purpose. 

Daisuke: You’re saying that they planned everyone was going to use all the fake areas to help in passing. What are you planning? 

Todoroki: What you did earlier made me think, if we combined our flames with something that would explode, it would go against what they thought we would do. 

He said before he created a small flame as it signaled for the other ninjas that they were there, which the leader spotted. 

Red Ninja: They’re over there! Surround them! 

Todoroki: In that case, there must be… the real thing, in that tank. 

He exclaimed as he used his ice to pierce a large tank as even more smoke covered the entire area as he put a small piece of metal on fire before they got in position. As the ninjas were running where the flame was at, they were shocked to see only the piece of metal there as it was revealed to be a warning. As the group of ninjas searched for the two, they stood right behind them on some pipes as they activated their flames. 

Daisuke & Todoroki: Dual Move! Phoenix Hydra Pierce! 

They shouted at the same time as their flames combined into a large flame-like spear as it struck the open tank as a large explosion of pink smoke pushed the ninjas back as their costumes were destroyed by the force and the flame attack. As the force pushed the ninjas away, Todoroki used his ice to block the force.
