Season 4 Chapter 12: The Start of the School Festival

After that moment with the threatening video, a whole month has passed and that meant that the next day was time for U.A’s school festival. Right now, Class A’s dance team and band team were practicing as Midoriya and Yuga were busy working on how to move Yuga around like a disco ball.

Kirishima: Let’s do a final check and one last run-through! 

Mina: Here we go! 

She instructed as she started to clap her hands mimicking the beat of the song as the dance team did the dance as the effects team watched them and was shocked by how good they were now. 

Mina: Then, Aoyama, center. Midoriya, run offstage. 

Yuga: Oui. 

Midoriya: Roger! 

Mina: Midoriya! Your movements are still too half-hearted. Focus your attention on the moves! 

Midoriya: Roger! 

Sero: Before we started, I was worried we’d seem amateurish, but the band and dance teams are both better than amateur level, huh? 

Daisuke: And with the inclusion of Bakugo in the band team, they’re been working so hard working in our ideas, too. 

Sero: Ashido is an unexpectedly mean coach, too. 

Kirishima: Yeah. Because she likes dancing, she can be really serious about it, huh? The band team weren’t the only ones who got stirred up by those words. 

He said smiling as on the other side of the gym, the band team were going over final things they needed to fix regarding the music they were doing tomorrow. 

Momo: I am getting nervous. 

Jiro: Don’t improvise weird stuff during the actual performance. 

Bakugo: Eh? 

Jiro: It’ll confuse some people. 

Kaminari: Those words hurt! 

Tokoyami: Kaminari, it’s not just you. 

Back with the dance team, Mina was busy instructing Midoriya on how to move Yuga safely as the green haired teen was on the railings of the gym, holding a rope that was connected to a harness around Yuga’s upper chest. 

Mina: And then Midoriya, go straight to the ceiling from the wings and set Aoyama up, pulling him up with the rope. 

She said as Midoriya had his Full Cowling activated as he pulled the rope up, as that brought Yuga into the air as Mina liked how it looked. 

Mina: That’s it, that looks good! 

But their practice was over as Hound Dog burst into the gym scaring everyone as the pro growled at them. 

Hound Dog: It's already! Nine o’clock! Students should only be here till nine! 

The pro growled again as everyone walked out of the gym, all excited for tomorrow as it was their day to show everyone in the school to enjoy. 

Timeskip

Inside the dorms, some of the class were still up as both excitement and nervousness were building in their bodies as it was now 11: 35 PM but the other half of the class already went to bed to rest for the big performance. 

Kaminari: Woo, I can’t sleep! 

Mineta: I’m at max excitement! 

Mina: Quiet down! Some people are sleeping! 

Iida: I wonder if everyone will get excited with us… 

Jiro: It’s better to not think about stuff like that. Getting embarrassed or nervous is the worst. Once you get on stage, all that’s left is to have fun!
