4 weeks later.
After finally settling in and adjusting to the new high expectations of chilton, The twins seemed more at ease at their new school.
It was the twin's birthday next week, Their sixteenth. Birthdays were a big thing in the Gilmore household, They loved to go over the top with it, Especially Lorelai.
They were at Friday night dinner, but this one seemed to be a bit more peculiar than usual.
Emily had suggested they put post it's on anything they like so when they pass they could inherit it.
"This is the strangest evening I've ever spent here."
Rachel said as the trio stared at a vase.
"So how are we doing?"
Emily said whilst entering into the living room.
"Great just getting ready for the big day."
Lorelai joked earning a look from Emily.
"Very nice."
"So, um it's getting late mom. Unless you've got some funeral plots for us to decorate we should really get going."
"Any special requests for dinner next week?"
Emily said whilst looking over to the twins.
"Mom, I want to talk to you for a minute. And uh Rory, Rachel why don't you go say goodbye to grandpa?"
Lorelai tried being discreet by signalling the twins to leave but failing miserably making herself look like she's having a stroke.
"Very smooth."
Rachel said whilst leaving with Rory.

"So how would you guys like two birthday parties this year?"
Lorelai said whilst looking over to the twins in the jeep.
"You couldn't get her to cave."
Rachel said with a hint of dissapointment in her voice.
"No but she did agree to make the string quartet to learn "like a virgin."
"Well you tried."
Rory said from the backseat.
"Guys I promise Saturday night we'll do it right at home a stars hollow extravaganza."
Lorelai said trying to excite the girls.
"Is this party grandmas having gonna be a big deal?"
Rachel asked dreading it already.
"Not really. The government will close that day. Flags will fly at half-mast. Barbara Streisand will give her final concert...again. Now the pope has plans but he's trying to get out of them. However Elvis And Jim Morrison are coming, and they're bringing chips."
