It had been a couple months since the Richard incident he was up and well back at the house and everything was back to normal. The twins and Lorelai were heading home together talking what they should have for dinner.
"How about Chinese?"
"Sounds good."
The twins agreed on Chinese as usual.
"Okay I need to stop at the market and get some fruit."
"Why?"
Rachel was extremely confused at her mother's need for fruit due to their usual unhealthy diet.
"I think I'm getting scurvy. That or a cold but either way I need some fruit."
As Lorelai and the girls were choosing some fruit from the boxes outside doose's, a loud motorbike sped by alerting Taylor who instantly ran outside.
"Damn motorcycle! They're a scourge."
"Yeah!"
Rory said egging Taylor on.
"They're loud they're dangerous. We should ban them from town."
"That's a bit much Taylor. I was planning on joining a motorcycle gang when I turned 18 where am I supposed to go with them if you ban them from the town?"
Rachel said teasing with Taylor who glared at her joke.
"Ugh. Got to get away from that noise."
Taylor headed back inside the market escaping the noise as the motorcycle approached the Gilmore's.
"Hey!"
The guy on the motorcycle called out to the girls making them spin round to face the stranger.
"Nice shirt, take it off."
The stranger took off his helmet revealing his identity. Christopher the girls father. Rory sprinted at the man nearly making him topple over. As Lorelai stood there in shock.
"Dad! What are you doing here?"
"Im here to see you two and your mom. Whos not saying anything about as loud as a person can."
"So um, What's with the just showing up Mr. spontaneity guy?"
"Well my folks are in Connecticut so I'm here to see them, and I thought I'd stop by and surprise the Gilmore Girls. Are you surprised?"
"The teeniest tiniest feather could knock me into the gutter."
Rory could sense the tension between her parents and Rachel who hadn't said a word to Christopher. But she was too excited that her father had come to visit.
"So where would somebody find someplace to stay around here?"
Christopher asked looking between the three girls.
