Queen Selah I am Prince Abalone of House Ashe I beseech you my Queen and request time alone with you so we may get to know one another. Selah smiled as he lay a gift at her feet she was passed the box she opened it Selah inhaled sharply pulling out the lynx cat. He was a stray I nursed him back to health for you. May he protect you in my absence. Thank you Prince Abalone.

The lynx was sleep Selah held him on her shoulder passing him to one of the mothers. That was the best gift yet. There was a break then the last man who they all herd of was announced. We call God and King Dawoo Excelance. A warm wind rushed over everyone marigold pedals fell like a light rain. Every girl was magically gifted a daisy chain amd women a crown of sunflowers. Every man chattered they were gifted hunting knives located at thier feet. Each knife was made from the horns of some fallen beast some deer antlers, goat, or moose. The king was gifted a blade forged from elephant tusks. Everyone was happy with the gifts they received.

There he was Selah sat up smiling Dawoo walked to the throne wearing the same crown he wore in the story book photo. The excited whispers ceased.

I am King Dawoo the first son of my father who long ago blessed me with the power of the Banshee Horns those same horns Queen Selah adorn presently. I passed those horns to an infant upon my death bed by the Gods with thier permission and blessing of whom I now sit beside as an equal God. I have returned to claim Queen Selah as my bride as promised by the prophet God Armini.

Selah was elated he came for her. On this day I decree the ways of old when female and male Banshee lived in the same villages as one. Queen Selah will you be my bride? Together we shall reunite loved ones and restore what was stolen and lost to us. Selah inhaled what have you bought for me King Dawoo? The girls laughed he handed a box to the fertility mother who passed it to her Dawoo's smile melting the hearts of women and teens. Selah opened the box sharply inhaling holding her hand over her heart.

How? She held up the earrings she lost in a pond so many years ago but king Dawoo they floated away I saw them. She wiped a tear my mother and I made them together thank you my King. Dawoo bowed his head. What say you young Queen will you take my hand?

WAIT! Abalone yelled walking forth I challenge you for the hand of the Queen. Abalone! The current king called to him no. Dawoo smiled you are my nephew the descendant of my younger brother who separated our banshee women from us in anger after the horns of screaming, knowledge and wisdom were not passed to him a royal but to a common female child, a child of my own choosing.

Nephew are you sure you want to battle a Banshee God? Abalone did not back down hearing he carried Gods blood the meeting fertility sacred grounds were pin drop quiet. I am sure Dawoo I shall not call you king because there is one king! The blood descendant of your brother King Jaroo Banshee sitting there. We are his male descendants our rightful place is on the throne where he left his bloodline not bowing to you a dead man! Abalone spit at his feet Selah trembled afraid Abalone would loose his life in one whisper from this God King.

I shall give you time to prepare 14 moons we will meet on the battle grounds the victor shall have the Queen and the throne nephew. Dawoo cut his palm Abalone cut his the men shook and agreed in a blood sealed oath the old fashioned Banshee way to seal a deal. Abalone and his brothers left the fertility grounds.

Selah stared at Dawoo worried I thought this was a celebration Dawoo smiled breaking the ice music! Melodic drums broke the silence as flutes chimed in on the wind. May I mother fertility? Of course my king.

She stepped aside Dawoo held his hand out for Selah's trembling one. Together they went on a romantic moonlit walk chaperone free.
