My other half {Sweet Pea x Bailey}

Chapter 19

July 4th was coming up, by a tragic death struck. The death of Fred Andrews. Bailey just gotten home from Pop's where she found out what happen she is very emotional.

"Bailey what's wrong?" Sweet Pea asks when she walks into the camper.

"Mr. Andrews. He's gone" she cries, he pulls her into hug as she cries into his shoulder.

"I'm so sorry love" Sweet Pea says rubbing her back.

"Listen we will just watch movies all day, you can cry if you need to." Sweet Pea says taking her face in his hands.

"Okay?" He asks, she nods he kisses her softly.

"I'm going to shower before we do" she says.

"Okay baby" he says, she walks into the bathroom taking a shower. Meanwhile Sweet Pea is setting up the bed putting all of Bailey's stuffed animals on her side of the bed and turning on the Titanic for her.

"Okay all done" she says with a small smile climbing onto the bed cuddling up next to Sweet Pea and taking her big teddy bear with them. They watch movies all day Sweet Pea cooked dinner for them then they fell asleep shortly after.

~ The next day~

The next day Bailey is awoken by a phone call from Cheryl.

On call
"Hey Cheryl what's up?" Bailey asks sitting up.

"Me and Tee-Tee are setting up something for Mr. Andrews if you want to help be at Archie's place in 15." Cheryl says.

"Okay I'm on my way" Bailey says.

"Bye love you" Cheryl says.

"Love you too" Bailey says before hanging up
Call ended

"Where are you going?" Sweet Pea asks sitting up.

"Going to help Cheryl and Toni with some for Mr. Andrews" Bailey says putting white jean shorts on and a dark purple shirt.

"Okay be safe" Sweet Pea says, Bailey walks over and kisses him.

"I will" she says with a smile before he goes back to bed. Bailey grabs her phone and keys before walking outside and driving her motorcycle to the Andrews house.

"Mrs. Andrews, we heard the news and...we're so so sorry about Mr. Andrews." Toni says.

"Thank you" Mary says.

"Mrs. Andrews...when my brother Jason died, I felt....supremely alone. My world was only darkness and despair. I don't want you or Archie to ever feel anything even remotely like that. So..with your blessing, there's something we'd like to do for your family. For when Archie returns." Cheryl says, they explain the plan and Mrs. Andrews gives the 3 girls her blessing before they leave Bailey hugs Mary.

"If you need anything please call" Bailey says giving Mary a peck on the cheek.

"Thank you Bailey" she says with a small smile, the girls spend the next few hours gathering everyone and telling them where to be and they do. Now Archie has just entered Riverdale and Fp is leading them in. Everyone's is waving flags and holding signs as Mr. Jones is in the lead then Archie and Veronica in the hearse, Betty and Jughead in Fred's truck.

~The next day at the Funeral~

Archie, Jughead, Kevin, Mr. Keller, Reggie, and Mr. Jones are carrying the casket. Everyone walks up placing their roses on the casket.

"Now, Fred's son Archie would like to say a few words." The funeral officiant says.

"Earlier I was thinking on the drive over here...how much of Riverdale my dad built...or just fixed up. Houses, office building, a bit of everything. He helped build this town. On day if I'm lucky enough to have a son or a daughter of my own...I'll be able to point to a building or even just a brick in the building, and say, 'Your Grandpa made that with his hands' it's the 4th of July. I remember this one 4th it was raining the fireworks show was canceled and I was so bummed, I remember sitting in the back yard and just bawling until my dad came home with all these fireworks. I mean, enough to burn our house down, you remember that mom?" Archie asks and she nods.

"And uh we lit them in the backyard it was just...it was the best night. My dad was here for every high and every low. He's the greatest man I've ever known. It hurts me that I never got to say goodbye. That I won't get to see him again or talk to him but his spirit and his memory lives on...in this town, and in everyone he's met. Fred Andrews will always be a part of Riverdale. I love you so much Dad." Archie says, everyone goes home and changes then a few hours later Archie's close friends are invited to his house for fireworks. Bailey and Sweet Pea go and sit down in his backyard watching Cheryl light the fireworks into the sky.

"Sweet Pea" Bailey says and he looks at her.

"Yea baby?" He asks, looking into her eyes.

"I love you" she says.

"I love you too" he says smiling then kissing her lips softly, she cuddles her head against his neck and they continue to watch the fireworks.

I made this chapter short because it is a memorial episode so I wanted to keep it just as that instead of adding more to it. I hope you enjoyed! -K
