Third POV: (Lo'ak is 11 at this time period)
*Flashback*

Lo'ak was just minding his own business, wanting to be himself for once, since he always got in trouble for wanting to play with Neteyam,Kiri, and Spider. He was just playing with his toys that he made himself, or his grandmother Mo'at made. Mo'at has never said this to anyone before and she never will, but she has always had a soft spot for Lo'ak. She noticed that he always got in trouble for things that he never did because Jake and Neytiri never heard him out.

She always made toys for him to play with, and it made her happy seeing him playing with them.

Lo'ak was playing with his toy that looked like an animal from the forest. It was his favorite toy because his grandmother made it. He loved when she was with him because he felt she was the only person who would see him.

He continued to play with it not noticing Tuk was behind him, begging him to play with her.

"Pleaseeee Lo'ak! The other three don't want to play with me can you?" Tuk put on her puppy eyes that always work with everyone else, but not with him. "Tuk can't you see I want to be alone? You're annoying me!" Lo'ak was becoming irritated and annoyed by Tuk. She always did this to him causing him to get in trouble. "Why don't you want to play with me!" Tuk slightly screamed and cried causing the attention of one of their parents, Neytiri. "Because you're annoying! Your voice is annoying, your crying is annoying, EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU IS ANNOYING!" Lo'ak hissed and bare his teeth to scare Tuk away, he just wanted to be alone.

Tuk hissed back trying to look intimidating but failing because Lo'ak just rolled his eyes, and pushed her away. Causing Tuk to fall backwards and hit her head. Hearing her cries, Neytiri rushed towards the fight and made Tuk go behind her.

"Lo'ak enough!" Neyteri pulled on Lo'ak's hair, causing him to yelp in pain. "Why do you always have to make your sister cry?!" Lo'ak wasn't paying attention and hissed again at Tuk, causing her to hiss back and stick her tongue out at him fake crying more to get him in trouble. "But momma she wouldn't leave me alone!" Lo'ak's ears flattened and his tail was wrapped around his leg.

"I said stop. You need to listen when I first say so." Neytiri hissed at Lo'ak, seeing his tears start to form. "I'm sorry mommy" Lo'ak's voice was breaking in that sentence making Neytiri's heart break. She didn't like to yell at her children, but she has too. Neytiri motioned for Tuk to leave the area, leaving Neytiri and Lo'ak all alone.

Lo'ak became alarmed by this, moving backwards and hitting a wall. "Momma please I'm sorry!" Lo'ak was scared of his mother whenever she was angry with him. Most of her punishments for him were physical, it could be making him run until it was night time or it could be her hitting him.

"Lo'ak you deserve a punishment, now come here." Neytiri's voice became cold and angry, grabbing him by his arm pulling him off of the wall. "Mommy you're hurting me!" Lo'ak was sobbing at this point not even receiving punishment yet. He looked his mom in the eyes, with pleading eyes for her to stop. He was scared of her, and she knows it. Neytiri started to shed a few tears but blinking them away to not let Lo'ak see.

"Turn around, or your punishment will be worse." Neytiri forcefully turned Lo'ak around, his back facing her. Lo'ak knew what she was going to do considering she has done it before.

"Mommy please, don't do it again I'm scared!" Lo'ak was screaming and sobbing trying to turn around and run away, but his mother grabbed onto his hair again and pulled it. This made Lo'ak yell more and cry. He was crying to the point where he couldn't breathe very well.
