————————-
Third POV:Lo'ak was still struggling to speak, even though it has been a couple of days since him waking up from his horrible nightmare. He didn't even know how it happened, he just wanted all of this mess to just be gone. He did have thoughts on how people could be happy about not hearing his annoying voice, but his family has been attempting to get him to practice his voice. But it does help them better with their Signing, which they have been wanting to learn more to speak with the reef people more underwater. Which is obviously a good thing for Lo'ak too since he also needs to practice with signing since it was his weak spot of learning how not to be "Useless" in the village.
Lo'ak has been still getting those same nightmares, but he hasn't been stuck in them since the first one. Which is really odd, he thinks that maybe it just scared him so much that he can't stop thinking about it. I mean who wouldn't think about a nightmare that felt so real? And feeling the pain as well, screaming your throat till it feels raw and feeling the pain of getting stabbed. Of course it traumatized Lo'ak, after the first incident he has been sticking to Tsireya like glue. He hasn't left her side unless she has to do her own duties, and for sleep as well. He's pretty sure that their parents have noticed it by now how much time he's spending with Tsireya. She was the only one Lo'ak could go to so he could talk about his feelings and actually feel seen by someone. He's glad that Tsireya hasn't grown tired of him by the amount of time Lo'ak has spent with Tsireya, Lo'ak laughs by just thinking about it.

"No Lo'ak you have to pull the string over the already woven part, so you could tie it off!" Tsireya playfully said in laughter, lightly shoving Lo'ak a little bit. He shoved what he was doing into the ground on the beach and quickly signing "You could've told me to do that before I made these two!" When he was done signing Lo'ak picked up the two other baskets that needed to be finished and tied off. "I just wanted to see if you would notice me tying it off!" Tsireya bursted out laughing more, earning a playful hit from Lo'ak. Hearing some different laughter in front of him he looked up to see Kiri silently laughing trying to not get caught.
Lo'ak signed "Kiri I can see you laughing!" Kiri started to laugh more actually knowing what Lo'ak said since she has been practicing her signing."No you don't! I'm just thinking about something else!" Kiri playfully rolled her eyes, trying to concentrate on weaving the baskets that they were tasked with to do. Ever since Lo'ak's incident, his parents wanted him to do fewer harder tasks so that meant he had to basically do a ton of crafting tasks, but he secretly helps out catching fish when someone needed help. "I don't understand why I can't help out in the water, it was just a dream!" Lo'ak knew it wasn't just a dream, it felt so real.
"Lo'ak you of all people know it wasn't just a dream, speaking of that I overheard our parents speaking about it." Tsireya looked at both Lo'ak and Kiri seeing if they wanted her to continue with the conversation. She saw them both nodding and saying that they wanted to know what their parents said.
"I overheard our parents saying that this could potentially be a vision from Eywa," Tsireya saw how both Kiri and Lo'ak's faces morph into utter silence and confusion. They didn't say anything, wanting to hear what Tsireya has to say. "They said that this could mean something. They really need to know what you saw in that Dream Lo'ak, they might ask you soon. This could potentially be something that could happen in the future." Tsireya saw how Lo'ak looked more nervous, and it was upsetting her. Kiri took Lo'ak's hand and said "Lo'ak do you know what happened in your dream to make you react that way?" Kiri looked at Lo'ak with concern in her eyes, her voice laced with worry and sadness.
"I don't really want to talk about it." Lo'ak signed rather quickly. Kiri could barely make out what he said. "Lo'ak you have to tell our parents sooner or later, we want you to feel comfortable." Tsireya said with confidence. She wanted Lo'ak to feel safe with them.
"Okay okay!" Lo'ak signed with fear on his face and discomfort. He didn't want to look at Tsireya and Kiri while signing.Lo'ak paused for a couple of seconds, trying to think of a way to start out the dream and how to explain it to them. "After me,mom, and dad had an argument I went to sleep right?" Lo'ak saw them both nodding. "The dream felt so real, I was back in the forest. It felt like the forest, and it smelt like it too. I could feel the grass between my feet, and the light mist of rain." Lo'ak smiled lightly for a bit while signing. "Then I heard something from behind me. I made the mistake of turning very slowly, just to meet what I think was an Avatar, I felt this pain in my stomach, looking down I saw a knife lodged in." Lo'ak looked up and saw the horrified faces of Kiri and Tsireya.
"The Avatar Said something, I couldn't hear what they were saying since my ears were so clouded and ringing. Then all I saw was pitch black. Still feeling the pain and blood dripping down my stomach and some in my mouth. I was screaming my throat out till it felt raw. Also crying my eyes out." Lo'ak had to sign slowly since he was still practicing. He also wanted to pause so he could breath while remembering the situation.
Kiri went to go hug her brother, and Tsireya told Lo'ak it was over and he was safe. He did feel safe on the Island knowing that the Avatars didn't know about it.
Or did they?
