A/N: Okay okay I know I just released a chapter but publishing schedule be dammed I need to get this one out. It has been driving me feral. I need to release Him into the world before he consumes my brain any more than he already has. He needs to be let loose.

This is currently one of my favorite chapters (I'm in Act 2 in my rough draft as of now), but I think that's because he steals the stage. Constantly. Every scene he's in is my favorite. Cringefail all-powerful pseudo-god pathetic men, you know?

I dunno what happened with Timmy in this upcoming bit. I didn't let him do that, he did it himself.

Mu didn't know how long she had been here.

Or where here was.

She remembered bits and pieces. There was the castle, and Bow and her fighting. She had used the time power from an hourglass to try to beat Bow, but had still lost. She remembered Bow beating her, and then she collapsed, and she woke up here not long after.

And she had been in the Horizon ever since. Though, for all she knew, she could have just been here for a few minutes. There was no way to tell time here. Mu had learned, in the time she'd been here, that she still had numerous abilities from using the timepiece's power. She had also found a pretty sturdy branch that she had used as a weapon.

She found Bow after a while, in a field of flowers that gave her the creeps. And now they were here, following this Timmy fellow that she had seen around a few times. He seemed nice, but Mu didn't trust him. Not one bit.

"...and where you guys were was the Grey Forest. Beyond that is the Field of a Thousand Eyes," Timmy was saying.

"That's a disturbing name," Bow responded.

"I know. I named it that because I always feel like I'm being watched there."

"You named these places?"

"Well, kinda. I found some pretty rad maps a while back, but very few spots were marked. So I updated them and named all the other locations. Of course, the palace was marked, it's the most noticeable place here." Timmy pointed to the island not so far off. "The Palace of the Moon. That's where the boss lives. That's where we're headed."

"And who's this boss-person?" Mu interjected.

"Well, he's the dude who runs this whole place. He's the ruler of the Horizon, though he did proclaim that himself. And it's not like there's many people here to rule. Buuuut he's pretty rad, and he knows the Horizon better than anyone. If anybody can help you out, it's him."

The three reached the end of the island. Timmy pulled some device out of his coat and aimed it at one of the stars in the sky. A claw shot out, and he swung across star to star until he landed on the next island. Bow pulled out her umbrella and did the same, taking a small detour to grab another piece of yarn that was floating around, then landing next to Timmy.

"Uh, hello?" Mu yelled. "Can I get a lift?"

"Just use your hookshot!" Timmy yelled back. Bow nudged him and said something Mu couldn't hear. Timmy nodded and swung back to Mu and offered his hand. "Hang tight, little miss."

"Don't call me 'little miss'." Mu glared at him, but grabbed his hand.

"Why not? Calling you miss is polite, and both you and your friend are younger than me. I think." Timmy aimed his hookshot and jumped into the air. Mu's stomach dropped as she was pulled off the island, gripping Timmy's hand as tight as she could.

"Wo- WOAH!"

Timmy laughed. "What's wrong, little miss? Never done this before?"

Mu shook her head quickly, looking down. It was a long drop if she were to lose her grip.
