The Engagement

Fast Forward 4 years and it is now 2012 and [name] and bill have been boyfriends for about 4 years!

I was hanging out with Tom today. We were planning on eating lunch together. As I parked the car I walked into the restaurant I saw Tom already sitting down. I sat across from him in the booth and started to talk to me

"Alright so what secrets are you hiding?" Tom asked putting down the menu

" secrets? What are you talking about." I asked, moving the menu out my way. "Well you normally have bill every where you go but this time you only asked to see me...what are you hiding?" Tom said trying to act like a detective

"Listen you know how me and bill have been dating for 4 years?" I asked Tom giving a suspicious look

"I was wondering if I should ask the question." I said making Tom let out a sigh of relief

"What?" I asked about the sigh

"I thought you were going to say you were going to break up with. And then I would have to end you." Tom said now a bit more upbeat

"You wouldn't do that if I did break up with bill...would you?" I asked raising my eyebrows

Tom gave me a knowing looking before he continued. "So...have you thought this through?" Tom asked I could see a small smile forming on his face. He really did want to see him brother happy

"I've thought about it for the past few months...I really do want to marry him. I've wanted to marry him since we started dating." I said starting to sound all sappy

"Do you even have a ring?" Tom asked as the waitress came over and took our orders.

"No...which is also why I asked you to see me today. Can we go ring shopping?" I asked giving him a sheepish smile

I knew he wasn't too keen on shopping. Tom stared at me for a while until he sighed before agreeing.

"So since your twins do you have the same ring size?" I asked taking a sip of my drink

"I don't know if that's how it works but me and bill do have similar ring sizes yes." He said looking a little confused

"Alright! Anyways enough about me...tell about the wonderful life of Mr. Tom kaulitz." I said as our food finally got to our table

"Well I mean I've been messing around for some time but I think I want actual date someone you know?" Tom said taking a bite of his burger

"Ooh the Tom Kaulitz wants to settle down and date someone? Color me impressed." I said as I ate my chicken tenders

"Yeah yeah...but I've got my eye on this girl named Ria Sommerfeld." Tom said smirking while he took another bite

"So...you gonna talk to her? Ask her out what you going to do?" I said starting on my fries

"Eh...I don't know. Maybe I'll get married after you guys." Tom said finishing his burger

"I mean I don't even know if bill will say yes though.." I said biting the inside of my cheek

"Oh please I know for a fact that he will say yes. Bill has been head over heels in love with you for years." Tom said making me choke on my fries

"Really?" I said my face pinkish now

"Please I know my brother...anyways want to go shopping now?" Tom said walking up to the counter to pay

That reminded me when bill years ago went to the restaurant I worked at and talked to me privately like that
