Rose Weasley and the Time Turner

Missing time turner

The wind made Rosie shivered, she didn't think that it was the wind though. The big task ahead of them was making her nervous, they were going back to Hogwarts today and Ginny told them to start investigating as soon as possible.

"Rosie!! You ready?" Al asked

"Oh yes! Bye mum Bye dad, bye Aunt Ginny !!" Rosie waved at each of them, she felt glad to have such nice relatives. She loved them and they loved her.

"Rosie, aren't you going to say good bye to me?" Harry asked, looking offended.

"Yep I am" Rosie ran up to him and hugged him, when her head was next to his ear, she whispered "How do we communicate in Hogwarts? What do we do if there's an emergency?"

Harry looked at her in the eyes, and then grinned "Use the floo powder, but don't put your whole body in, just your head. You're going to feel great!"

"Yeah sure..." Rosie chuckled, but then quickly remembered when she was three, she put her head into the floo network by accident and she almost, no, she actually vomited in the fireplace.

"Bye Rosie!! Be brave and wish you luck!!" Harry got out of the hug and half pushed Rosie into the Hogwarts Express. "See you! and have fun!!"

Rosie smiled and dragged her trunks into the train, she met with Al and they found an empty compartment. Not really empty though, Ted was under the chair reading a book.

"HEY ROSIE, HEY AL!!" He greeted them warmly.

"Hey!!" Al and Rosie replied together, and then grinned at each other.

"Look at this!! This is so weird.." Ted held up the book he was reading, Rosie looked closely and realize that it wan't a novel, it was a magazine.

On the cover, it said The Quibbler with bright pink letter. Weird colour for a magazine brand.. Rosie thought. She had heard of The Quibbler before, but she had never actually read one.

"What's weird?" Rosie asked

"This! It said that before the dark time, there used to be lots of time turners, but after Harry Potter killed the dark lord, the ministry decided to destroy the time turners. They thought that no one should ever go back in time because if you did something wrong or regretful, you should learn from it.. Instead of trying to fix it by going back in time. There were exactly nine-hundred-and-eighty-three time turners made in the history, the ministry had destroyed nine-hundred-and-eighty-two of them, they couldn't find the last one for some reasons.." Ted read, and then threw the magazine to the floor. "But it doesn't really matter because lots of people said that the editor for The Quibbler is out of her mind.. you know, Luna Lovegood."

"Luna Lovegood?" Al exclaimed "She's out of her mind? no way, if she is then Ly and Lorc would know. She's their mother, plus we just saw her during the Christmas feast and she seemed normal...just a bit dreamy..or maybe she is out of her mind. And I didn't know she was the editor of The Quibbler..... Did she start it?"

"No, her father Xenophilius Lovegood started The Quibbler, I heard from my mum that during the dark time the only reliable source of news was The Quibbler. Funny isn't it, trusting an old man with his news.." Ted chuckled.

"Excuse me, that's my grandfather you're talking about there!" Ly's voice came from the compartment door. "He's not out of his mind!"

"We should trust Ly" Rosie supported Ly, she didn't think that the time turner thing was made up but she couldn't see how it effect there investigation, so why did it matter whether it was made up or not?!

"Thanks Rosie!!" Ly gave her a thumb up and then walked out, sending Ted an evil stare. Ted shrugged then put the magazine back into his bag.

After they arrived back in Hogwarts, they were greeted warmly by the people that chose to stay.

"Stinky Weasley is back..." Bobby whispered into Rosie's ear, she turned really face so her tied back hair could slap Bobby on his face. It may not do much harm, but no one can underestimate the power of a ponytail.

"OUCH!" Bobby covered his face "What did you do that for?"

"Oops Bobby, sorry, but I think my hair chose to do that. You know, I don't really have much control over who my hair wants to slap" Rosie said, grinning widely.

She turned and stomped up to the Gryffindor Common Room.

"Rosie!! What have you been doing?! I thought you got into trouble with Professor Letsrage again.." Al exclaimed as soon as Rosie stepped into the common room, they had agreed to keep calling Lestrange, Letsrage.

"Me? Oh no, ran into Bobby, but it's fine. My hair helped me, it kind of slapped him." Rosie replied happily, then she went into the girl's dormitory and opened her trunk. She took out a book and start listing out the things they have to do.

1. Go to Hagrid's to ask for help to get into the dark forest

2. Get a picture of the Resurrection Stone from the library

3. Choose a date to go to the dark forest

4. Tell Harry about the plan using the Floo Network

5. Tell Ted about the plan and ask him to help.

6. Ask Ly and Lorc for help to find the stone together.

7. Go to the dark forest and start searching for the Resurrection Stone

"That would do.." mumbled Rosie to herself, now all she needed to do was to go find Al and tell him the plan. And hopefully they will find the Resurrection Stone and destroy it before Lestrange.

If all goes well.......
