Author Pov.
Misaki and Muichiro was walking outside the Demon Slayer hq when Muichiro suddenly spoke which caught Misaki's attention.

"Wanna go to a cafè, I heard it sells the best coffee" he said not looking at her.

"Uhm sure, I don't have anything to do today" she said excitedly and smiled to Muichiro.

Muichiro Pov.
'Hmm, she's cute' I thought as I was looking at the ground trying to hide my blush.

"Tokito...san?" I heard her call my name.

"Hmm?" i said not looking at her.

"Is everything ok?" She said in a concerned voice.

"Yeah, everything is fine" I said blushing even more.

'What is this feeling, am I falling...inlove!?'

Misaki Pov.
As i smiled at him, I noticed that Muichiro's face became red and I was concerned I asked him if everything was ok, he said yes.

"Tokito san?" I asked him. "is this the place?" He replied with with a satisfied hum.

Author Pov.
The two went inside the café and both started to order. It was awkwardly quiet and Muichiro decided to start a conversation with Misaki.

"So, uhm why did you join the demon slayer corps?"

Misaki Pov.
I was fidgeting with my fingers until Muichiro san spoke to me.

"I-I joined because" I said trying not to tear up "I wanted to avenge my brother who was killed by demons while protecting me" I said that as water starts fill up my eyes.

Author Pov.
Misaki was a loving and positive girl who had anxiety, she was always anxious when she had a lot of attention, she had a loving family until her mother had died due to cancer and her father died trying to protect both her and her brother from a bear. His brother became overprotective towards her and would not let her outside without him. One night a demon went and tried to kill Misaki but her brother protected her and tried to kill her.

"Misaki run!" Her brother yelled as he was trying to kill the demon.

"Nee-san!" Misaki yelled as he saw his brother got killed by the demon.

"You'll pay for that!" Misaki yelled as he attacked the demon with a knife. Eventually Misaki killed the demon with the sunlight, she ran straight to her injured brother.

"Nee-san! Wake up!" She yelled but her brother had already passed away.

"N-no! Nee-san! You said we will be together forever you promised" she said as tears started to pour even more. Eventually she accepted the harsh reality and went to bury his brother's corpse.

"I'm sorry, you died because of me, forgive me Nee-san".

"That's why I joined the Demon Slayer Corps" Misaki said as tears started to pour. "I wish I could have he–" her sentence was cut off by Muichiro hugging her.

"You did help" he said in a soft tone. Misaki eventually  hugged him back as she cried on his shoulder.

Time skip

Their orders came and Misaki wiped her tears.

"Tokito san?" She looked at Muichiro as her eyes were still red from crying.

"It's Muichiro, call me Muichiro" he said while smilling at her.

"Muichiro san?" She asked again.

"Hmm?" Muichiro replied with a hum.

"Thank you for letting me cry and comforting me" she said as she smiled at him.

"No problem" he said as he pulled her in another hug.
