Muichiro woke up early to prepare breakfast for Misaki, as he was preparing he heard a knock on the door revealing Shinobu with a smile.

"Good morning Tokito san" she said as she smiled at him.

"Good morning, come in" he said as he let her in the estate "have you eaten" Muichiro asked as he opened the door to Misaki's room.

"Yes I have thanks for asking" Shinobu said as she smiled and checked Misaki's condition as well as changing her bandages. Muichiro went back to the kitchen to finish cooking.

Time skip

Muichiro finished cooking and headed to Misaki's room only to find Shinobu frowning at her as she held her hands tightly. Shinobu noticed Muichiro standing in he doorframe.

"Tokito san.. I have some bad new to tell you.." she said as she frowned. Muichiro quickly sat down beside her and listened.

"She isn't going to last long, I'm afraid to tell you that the deep gash on her back might be fatal and it is starting to get infected, but the good news is I can still try and treat her" she said as she looked at Muichiro as his tears started to build inside his eyes.

"No... we promised each other that we will never leave each other's side" he said as a tear ran down his face.

"I'm sorry, but I'll try and treat her as much as possible" she said as she held Muichiro's hand.

"Thank you Kōcho" he said as tears flowed down his face.

Time skip

Shinobu went back and Muichiro sat down near Misaki and said "please don't leave me alone, you're the only one I have left" he said as he started to cry silently. Misaki opened her eyes to see her lover crying.

"Mui...san... what's wrong? Why are you crying?" she asked weakly as she caressed his cheek wiping away the tears in his eyes.

"Nothing dear, are you hungry I made us breakfast" he said as he wiped the remaining tears on his face and changed the topic. He went to the kichen to get the breakfast he made. "Let's eat" he said putting down the food infront of her and tried to feed her.

"Why did you cry? Is there something bothering you?" She said in a concerned tone.

"I'm just worried about you" he said as tears began forming in his eyes again.

"Please don't worry about me, I'll be fine and I'll get better soon" she said as she took a bite of food.

"I hope so" he said as he patted her head and kissed her on her cheek.

"I love you" he said as he wiped his tear off his face "get better soon and promise me that you'll never leave me ever" he added as he kept on feeding her.

"I love you more" she said weakly "I promise that I'll never leave you again" she said as she kept on eating.

Time skip

Muichiro finished feeding her and went to do the dishes until he heard a knock on the door.
