I woke up early remebering everything thay happened last night and as I realized what happened to Misaki last night I ran to her room and saw Shinobu checking up on her wounds an changing her bandages.

"Oh goodmorning Tokito san" Shinobu said as she smiled at me and went back on changing her bandages.

"How is she?" I asked as I get closer to her and held her hand.

"She has a deep gash on her back and a slash on her right elbow but it'll heal in no time just forbid Misaki from standing up or the  gash on her back will open up" she said as she smiled "I will visist often to check on her too" she added before she started to pack and leave.

"Oh will you care to have some tea?" I asked her before she leaves.

"Oh no need, but thank you for the offer" she said as she smiled and left.

I went back to Misaki's room and saw her awake.

"Misaki" I ran to her and held her hand tightly "how are you feeling? Do you want to eat?" I said as I was concerned about her.

"No I'm fine, thank you" she smiled and started caressing my cheek.

"I should have gone to that mission with you" I said as tears formed in my eyes.

"Don't blame yourself Mui, it's my fault I should have gone to that mission" she smiled faintly.

"Don't blame yourself also" I said as a tear ran down my face.

"Don't cry I'm ok now,  please worry about yourself" she said as she wiped my tear away.

"How could I not worry about you, you almost died" I said as I started to tear up.

"Well, I'm alive right, so there's no need to worry, please stop crying" she said and chuckled faintly.

"Please be careful next time" I said as I kissed her hand.

"I will" she said as she fell asleep.

I kissed her forehead as I began making food for the two of us.

Time skip

As I was finished cooking our food I heard Misaki call for me and I rushed to her room.

"Yes, you called" I said as I get close to her.

"Are you finished cooking food? I'm a little bit hungry" she said as she turned to me.

"Yes, wait here I'll get you food" I said as I got her food "here" I put down her food and started feeding her.

"I'm sorry, I'm such a burden" she said as she was starting to tear up.

"No, no shh calm down, you're not a burden" I said putting down her food and comforting her.

"If only I was careful while fighting off the demon, I would've became like this and be a burden to you" she said as tears run down her eyes.

"Shhh, calm down it's not your fault, everyone can get injured while fighting off demons" I said as I reassured her.

"Yeah, if only I was strong I would've defeated the demon without any injuries" she said.

"But you are strong, so no need to cry" I said as I hugged her not so tightly.

"But if I was strong I would ha–" her words got cut off as I kissed her.

"Please never think that you're a burden nor your weak, everyone is different, some of them are weak and also some of them are strong, so please don't cry anymore" I said as I kissed her again and caressed her cheek.

"I love you" she said as she was calming down.

"I love you more" I said as I kissed her hand.

"Please don't leave me alone" she said as she slowly drifted to sleep.

"I will never" I whispered as I hugged her again.
