"Felix?" Jisung calls out, noticing my facial expression. I point at Hyunjin, a painful emotion stained on my face. Jisung turns to look at Hyunjin, his eyes widening in surprise.
"What? Is that that mother-fucker cheating on you?" Jisung growls, as he glares at Hyunjin, rage and anger boiling inside of him.
"Let's go," I whisper, trying to pull him away before Hyunjin notices us.
"No. I'm going to kill-"
"Jisung, please. That might just be his friend. Or colleague. Or secretary. Even maybe his sister. I don't want to face him right now. So please, let's go," I mumble, clutching his arms desperately. His face softens as he watches tears streaming down my face. I drag him away from the Hyunjin and towards the cafe. Once seated, Jisung stares at me, an unreadable emotion plastered on his face.
"Lixie, ever since you moved in with Hyunjin, something is wrong. I can feel it. You're my twin, and I know everything about you. So please stop hiding what's going on," Jisung pleads.
"Alright, I'll tell you... Hyunjin has been coming home late. For a while. When I first moved in, we were okay. But soon enough, he started getting busier until he started ignoring me. I thought that maybe he was just stressed and needed space. But after finding him at the mall today... I don't know if it's just that. But I'm probably overthinking it. Hyunjin doesn't show me any emotion. He doesn't cuddle or talk to me anymore. I don't know if it's his work, or if I'm just not good enough," I explain, holding in my emotions.
"You're more than enough Lixie. Any guy would be blessed to have you. But that sick bastard doesn't. I thought Hyunjin was better. Please stop overthinking this, Lixie. Just break up with him," Jisung says.
"I can't... I still love him," I whisper, sobbing in my arms.
"Lixie! Don't cry!" Jisung yelps, wrapping his arms around me, as he also starts to tear up.
"What do I do?"
"Maybe just talk to him. About how you feel," Jisung replies, wiping away my tears.
"But I don't want to face him."
"Then just stay with us until you're ready."
"Thank you Sungie. I didn't want to tell my brother since he would try to kill Hyunjin."
"Hah, that would be Minho thing to do. But no problem. Now let's cheer you up! What do you want from the Menu? It's on me."
"Hmm... how about some mochi doughnuts with hot chocolate?"
"I'll take that too but with cheesecake instead."
"Okay, I'll call the waiter."
"Hello, what would you like today? Wait... Felix? Jisung?"
We look up to find Jeongin.
"Innie!?" I gasp.
"Baby bread! How are you?" Jisung squeals.
"Look at you all grown up!" I murmur in awe.
"You still have those adorable fox eyes though," Jisung complements.
"Hey! Stop treating me like a baby! It's been a year already! I'm grown up!" Jeongin whines.
"You'll still always be our baby brother!" I grin wickedly. Jeongin glares at me.
"Sigh. Anyway, your order?"
"Matcha Mocha with Hot Chocolate and for him, Cheesecake with Hot Chocolate," I say.
"Coming right up!" Jeongin says, turning around.
"Oh wait! How'd yours and Chan's relationship?" Jisung smirks, stopping Jeonginin in his tracks.
"It's just fine," says a gruff voice behind us.
"Chan Hyung!" me and Jisung say, turning around.
"What's up, Felix? Hey Han," Chan greets.
"Oh my god! Where on earth have you two been all this time?" I question.
"... uhm... in Korea?" they answer.
"Oh. I guess we just never paid attention to your existence," Jisung shrugs.
"Damn Sungie. You haven't changed one bit, have you?" Jeongin grins.
"Nope. It's the same old Jisung."
"Alright then, I'll go get your orders," Jeongin concludes, leaving us with Chan.
"You guys should visit Seungmin sometime," Chan suggests.
"Where even is he?" I ask.
"Yeah, Seungmin is always secretive," Jisung adds.
"I mean, Seungmin always seems like he's hiding something but he really isn't. It's just natural for him to look like he's closed off," Chan explains.
"I heard my name?" says a voice. We turn around in shock. Even Jeongin, who just arrived dropped the platter of cheesecake.
"Seungmin!?" we yell in sync.
"Oh hey. I see everyone's here. Why wasn't I invited?" Seungmin joked.
"This is too much of a coincidence to be true. How are we ALL here? Even you, Seungmin. It's like we were talking about you and you just appears. You really are the spawn of Satan," I say, as my friends laugh.
"I came to see Hyunjin. You know, since he's my cousin. He said to meet me at this mall and while walking here, I saw you four from the cafe window," Seungmin answers. My mood drops at Hyunjin's name.
"Oh yeah! I forgot Hyunjin! Ooh Lixie, how's ya boyfriend?" Jeongin giggles. I stay silent and look down.
You're drifting away.
