-- 5 mins later --

"You're bleeding, you've sprained your ankle and you're all messed up. Whoever did this to you is bound to have a deathwish," Wooyoung glowered, "Let's fix you up."

Without a warning, Wooyoung lifts me up in a bridal carry and walks me towards an apartment.

"Yah! Wooyoung hyung! I can walk--"

"Don't lie son. You literally sprained your ankle!"

We reach his apartment as he sets me on the couch. A few moments later he walks in with a first aid kit. He cleans my wounds and bandages them. Then he carefully plasters my ankle. Putting the Kit away, he sits beside me with a heavy sigh.

"Tell me everything. From the moment you left Australia. I want to hear it all," Wooyoung declared.

And so I told him. Everything. Moving away, Settling in Soeul. Making friends. My education life. Falling in love. And losing hope. All he does is listen with a calm attitude. He doesn't yell or shout. He doesn't pressure me. He doesn't question me. He just lets me speak. There is no pity in his eyes. Instead, there is admiration. Admiration that I did all of that without support. Without reliance. He knows my heart is withering but his face shows confidence. Telling me I can get through it. That the fight is worth it. After a while of speaking, I pause to look at his soft smile.

"You're strong Felix. Incredibly strong. You've grown up," Wooyoung says, "Who is this Hyunjin love of yours?"

"I... don't know if I can show him to you..."

"I don't care. I don't want to see the man who made you cry. I want you to be strong. If you still love him and you aren't willing to let go, then don't. But don't leave yourself to your breaking point. Otherwise, you might do something to yourself," Wooyoung advises. I nod as he embraces me again.

"Stay with me tonight. If you don't want to face your friends, then we can hang out. Alright? Just the two of us," Wooyoung asks softly.

"Okay...Hyung, why'd you come to Korea?"

"To see you. It's unfortunate that our first meet-up was rather sad. But I'm glad to see you again. Also because I'm here with my boyfriend San."

"You have a boyfriend!?" I gasp.

"Yes."

"What's his name?"

"San. Choi San."

"Oh my god! Where is he?"

"He's busy Felix. He's a businessman like Hyunjin."

"Oh..."

"Now let's sleep. If we want to hang out tomorrow, we need to rest!"

-- time skip --

I wake up to the calling of my name.

"Hyung?"

"Morning Lix. Come on! We're going to hang out!"

I look up to Wooyoung. A smile formed on my face. A smile I haven't felt in a long time. A smile that warmed up my body. For the first time in a while, I felt the energy to jump out of bed with joy.

I follow Wooyoung out of the bedroom as he starts to make waffles for breakfast.

"Enjoy!" he exclaims, placing the dish in front of me. I pop it into my mouth as the whipped cream and sugar melt in my mouth.

"I haven't tasted our cooking in over 10 years! It's heaven!" I squeal, stuffing my mouth. I can feel my bright side popping up again.

"Don't worry. Now that I'm in Korea, I'll cook for you whenever you want! Now hurry! I've booked a seat at a cafe near San's office. You'll get to meet my boyfriend if we are quick."
