Reminiscing on the peachy sweet times of the past brought several tears to your eyes, the watery drops instantly clouding your vision of any good memories you were previously recalling. The current moment hit you like a stack of bricks needless to say, the lack of warmth parallel to you serving as a reminder that he's no longer seated beside you, as he once was.
You hadn't exactly heard much of his where abouts recently, the only form of news you were receiving was what the television would conveniently air whenever you were watching it. Supposedly the band was taking a short break, due to an endless amount of touring & so forth. Though, they were reportedly due to release an album soon, which you absolutely dreaded to say the least. Not only did it mark a new wave of songs for the radio to hammer down your throat repeatedly, it also was the first release since your inevitable breakup. You knew Dan wasn't really one to write love songs of the sorts, but the thought of something being on there did cross your mind more than once. You knew that on the rare occasion that he did write something, it would most likely be kept in the drafts per say. Nevertheless, the anticipation still frankly wrecked you.
You hadn't spoken to Ben nor Chris either, both parties silently deciding it'd be best to part ways. You'd anxiously bumped into Ben at the shops several months ago, but nothing strong came of it. He mumbled a rather shocked "Oh hey, how are you?", though it was pretty much left at that. The truth consequently left unsaid between well, the both of you. It was rather odd to say the least, considering you used to be relatively close with both of the boys, but with endings come a wave of change, unfortunately so....
