MINUTES UPON MINUTES hastily trickled over us, a sense of dread clouding both of our minds as we simultaneously come to terms with my inevitable departure. I suppose our unspoken feelings of angst boil from the connotation that we aren't exactly aware of what happens next, seemingly due to our unknown positioning within each others minds. Something has most definitely shifted between us both, our feelings for one another somewhat evidently clear in some format, though within saying that, that very shift isn't exactly bold enough to bring within surface, which leaves us both in a rather awkward scenario.
"Feels like I've only been with ya' for like, five minutes or somethin'" he states, pulling his car into a parked position within the centre of my driveway. "Mmm i know" i softly sigh, largely agreeing with his statement. "I'll um, i'll see you around?" he queries, speaking as if he's not exactly convinced on both when and if he'll see me again. "Of course, dickhead. We'll make more plans soon, yeah?" i say, leaning over somewhat to ruffle his bleached locks. He nods eagerly in response, the sense of apprehension soon exiting his orbs. "We'll speak soon, okay?" i continue, pressing a delicate kiss on the left side of his cheek before departing from his vehicle. "Yeah definitely, Bye Shirls" he responds, a rather enormous grin plastered along his lips due to my previous action. I hastily shut his door, sending a small wave his way in an attempt to nonverbally speak a final goodbye. He follows by imitating my same action, though adding a seemingly sarcastic air kiss, earning a light "Fuck Off" from myself.
Some things will simply never, ever change...
