Dramatically Obstinate [Miguel x Peter B]

Chapter III {Earth-616}

"He.. he managed to run away." Gwen said, looking down to Miguel as the others.

Miguel's eyes widen at Gwen's words, he quickly processes what she said before a flash of frustration appears on his face.
"The world is in danger now because Miles ran away?! Are you kidding me?!" Miguel exclaims before he takes a deep breath and calms himself down a little more, his anger slowly turning into a look of defeat and anxiety.

"I know if he goes home, the whole world will be destroyed. But who knows right? Who knows he can save both the world and his family." Peter tried to persuade Miguel as Miguel was irritated by Miles from the beginning of his appearance.

Miguel gets super angry and scoffs at Peter.
"Are you kidding me? He runs away, which could lead to the end of the whole damn universe? What if he doesn't go back?" Miguel says with a hint of anger in his voice before he lets out a frustrated growl, he tries to keep himself calm, but it's difficult when an entire universe could be in danger.

"Maybe he can handle it? Right?" Peter tried to convince him and tried to sound reassuring as possible.

Miguel's eyes widen and he lets out a harsh, anger-fueled scoff.
"You call this a convincing attempt? The fate of an entire universe is in a baby's hands and you seriously think he can handle it?" Miguel says with a harsh and annoyed tone as he stares at Peter with an annoyed look in his eyes, his arms crossed as he continues to look at him and wait for him to say something that will at least calm him down or at least make him feel better.

"Miguel.. just trust him, okay?" Peter tries to comfort him but fails, he gets even angrier as the love of his life defends the kid rather than himself.

"Trust him?!" Miguel's voice was raised a little more and he got even more angry than he was before at Peter's words.

He could tell Peter was at least trying to comfort him but Miguel's not really having it.
"You're asking me to put my trust in a baby that could be responsible for the destruction of an entire universe?!" Miguel asked with a harsh tone, he's not buying any of what Peter is saying.

Peter sighed deeply.
"Miguel.."

Miguel then opens a portal for him to catch Miles as the others follow him.
"You stay here. I'm sick of you. I don't need you anymore" He says without even facing Peter, he then walks towards the portal and goes to the other universe.

Peter just stood there, shocked.
He gets very angry and saddened because he feels like he's losing Miguel to a kid.

Miguel's words hit Peter like a bullet shot and he feels sick to his stomach, his heart breaks into a million pieces as he sees Miguel's back turn to him and go through the portal.
Peter's emotions make him fall to the ground in a fit of anger, and tears form on his cheeks as he feels like he's being torn apart.

After days, Miguel finally came back from the universe that Miles was in.
It was a normal work day, everyone working on their work, including Peter.

Miguel looks even sadder than before and having a bit of a tear in his eye
"I couldn't bring him back..."

Miguel says with a sigh, his voice sounding soft as it cracks up a bit as he walks towards Peter.
"He wasn't cooperating with us and I'm not sure what to do anymore." Miguel has a look of sadness in his eyes, he sounds really tired and sad as he glances at Peter.

Peter looks away and continues to do his work.

"Why are you ignoring me?" Miguel says with a soft and hurt voice as he looks down at Peter now sitting down, his emotions making him feel like he's being ignored and pushed to the side.
