Hiro stirred, groaning as a sharp pain erupted in his head.
Great. Was this another migraine?
Suddenly, he was being shook awake, which seemed to augment the terrible pain in his head.
"Stop," he managed to groan out in between shakes.
Thankful that his request had been fulfilled, he opened his eyes to thank the person, but was met with an impossible sight.
Tadashi was kneeling in front of him, peering into him with his signature look of worry.
His hat was still on like the way he had worn it before the fire; his features were unscathed, free from any injuries or signs of the consequences for having run into a burning building.
As Tadashi reached out to touch Hiro, he let out a shriek -equally startled and confused, frantically shuffling backwards and away from Tadashi.
This unexpected reaction from his brother caused Tadashi to withdraw his hand. His brows pinched together as his lips set into a slight frown.
"Hiro? Are you alright?"Hiro, face pale, had managed to get up on his feet.
His heart struck a harsh beat against his chest; his brown eyes -wide and glazed over- stared straight at Tadashi, glued to his approaching form.
The closer Tadashi got, the more frantic Hiro became as he continued stepping backwards.
A final step backwards had Tadashi yelling out Hiro's name as Hiro tripped on something.Hiro's gaze broke from Tadashi's as the grey ceiling swiftly made itself known, followed by a painful thud and a feline, familiar screech.
"Mochi?"
When the furry pillow from under his head began mewling and struggling, Hiro quickly sat up.
He looked down at the cat and found it glaring at him; he gave an apologetic smile.
"Sorry."Mochi, however, ignored his apology in favour of looking at Tadashi who simply stood there looking rather unsure of what to do.
The last time he had done something, his brother tripped on a cat and fell.Hiro, following Mochi's gaze, turned back to Tadashi; he swallowed hard.
Right. The dead was alive.
This couldn't be real; Tadashi was dead.
He had watched him run into that fire, leaving behind his only brother, his aunt, and his friends.
Hiro scowled.
All for a man who didn't care about him.If this was some sick joke by some villain, then no one was laughing.
It was pretty messed up to bring back Tadashi, reopening healing wounds.
But then again, he guessed messed up kinda came with the job description of a villain."Tadashi..." Hiro muttered, before snapping his head to the right when he heard a groan.
This groan was followed by a couple others from around the room.Hiro glanced around the room, spotting Honey Lemon, Gogo and Fred stacked on top of each other.
"Fred," said Gogo, groaning as she came to consciousness. "Get off me, you're crushing my spine!"
Fred replied with a groan of his own.
"Wha? Spines aren't necessary, dude. Ask worms..." Fred promptly returned to sleep after that.Gogo, now irritated, pushed at Fred and Honey Lemon with all her might. She was adamant her spine would still be intact at the age of twenty.
"Seriously, get off!" She yelled again.Wasabi stirred from his position on the floor next to Baymax.
"Guys, shhhh, too early," he chastised, throwing Baymax's arm over his head for noise cancellation.Honey Lemon was unfortunate enough to get elbowed in the side as Gogo worked around untangling her body from Fred's.
"Ow!" She screamed as she sprang up from her curled position on the floor.
