Today I'm moving in with my Best friends Freya and Talia, it's been forever since I've seen them only because I moved away with my mom 4 years ago. Since then I found out how big they are on the internet. Freya being a big time twitch streamer and same with Talia except she also has a huge singing career. I never been to big on the whole social media and fame settings, I usually keep to myself but the girls convinced me to come to London and stay with them so here I am. As I head through the streets of London I decide to take in all the beautiful structures and landmark I've seen, until I noticed the time on my watch.
"it can't be.. 1:50pm and were still 20 minutes out, I was suppose to be there at six" I whispered to myself before looking up to the driver. "sir is there anyway we can try to speed up, I'm suppose to be at my destination at 2 and we're still 20 minutes out" I asked hating being late to anything and really hate anything messing up my fit schedule.
"just sit back, well be there shortly" The driver hissed as I just sighed leaning back in my seat grabbing my phone to message Talia.
Emily: hey running behind be there soon!!
Talia: no problem, don't worry because you're late on moving in
Emily: I know but you know me I cant help it
Talia: I know girly, see you soon love you XO Emily: love you too X
After 20 minutes I finally arrived at their loft and buzzed their number to let me in. Once I finally arrived to the door I knocked being welcome by the girls going crazy seeing me after all this time.
"omg I can't believe you're finally back" Talia said loudly while putting my stuff down and them leading me to the living area.
"so tell us all about Italy" Freya said sitting down handing me some water as I took a sip and set the cup down.
"omg it was amazing, everything was so beautiful, the food was amazing , the people were nice" I began telling them about my stay in Italy. About 4 years ago my Mom left my dad and took me to Italy to live with her and I've missed my friends here which is only Freya and Talia but I've also missed my dad. "it was just an amazing country to be in even though I did miss you girls but enough about me tell me about you guys" I said shifting my self towards them so they can talk.
"well where do we start I mean I've been blowing up on twitch with all my reactions I do and being myself" Freya stated as I couldn't be more proud even though that something I couldn't see myself do, I just don't see the fun in it, talking to a camera and then posting it for the whole world to see, I just don't get something like that but doesn't mean I don't support my friends in what they do.
"that's awesome Freya, I'm so happy for you, what got you into streaming anyway" I asked her as she just looked down while blushing. "what.. why are you smiling like that" I giggled.
"go on tell her" Talia nudged her as I looked back between the two so confused.
"okay well you remember Josh the guy I have been dating since forever" Freya said and I nodded of course remembering Josh we all used to have so much fun together until I stopped hanging out with people other than the girls and they would just come by my house so I don't know how Josh and Freya have been. "okay well I know you haven't talked to Josh in years but he started creating Youtube videos and they've gotten really big over the years and he started making them with his group of friends that has become big on Youtube now" Freya said trying to catch her breath as I sat there taking in everything she said.
"wow okay great for him, so Talia how about you how's the singing career going" I asked turning my attention to Talia.
"it's going great I've got my next Album release party soon and your going" Talia stated and I just looked at her with a confused look because she knows I don't like going to big event especially when I wasn't given a big notice about it and I don't think it will fit in my schedule.
"Talia you know me, I don't think I can" I said shaking my head leaning back on the couch as she just looked at me with disappointment. "don't look at me like that, you know I need a long notice before hand" I stated crossing my arms.
"Emily, you have to live life, like come on your 20 explore the world, experience new things" Talia stated standing up and walking around the apartment.
"she's right Em your 20 your young, you have so much to go after and I have a great way she can start off" Freya said bringing a smirk to her lips as she looks at Talia then back at me as I had a confused look on my face, what were these two planning. "we can make her an Instagram account" Freya shouted out as she jumped up excitedly.
"oh no no no no, no way am I becoming apart of this social media bogus" I stated shaking my head not giving into these two.
"oh come on Emily, it will be fun and this is the best way to get out there and live a little, meet new people" Talia said making her way to me as she sat next to me. "please Em give it a try" Talia begged
"you guys know how I feel about this stuff, It's not my way of thinking and it's certainly not my way of living my life having it all out in the open for everyone to see" I said putting my hands in my laps.
"it will be good Em, we will be here to help, being on social media isn't as bad as you think it is, trust us" Freya said and I knew I wasn't gonna be able to tell them no again so I gave in and they were so excited as they grabbed my and took me to the bedroom to sign me up on the computer. After 10 minutes my profile was set up and it was time to make my first post, I was nervous because this isn't something I'm familiar ith.
"okay you ready let's get a picture Em" Talia said pointing the camera at me. "there got it now lets upload it to yours and then well post to ours and we already tweeted out your handle so all of our fans can follow you" Talia smiled I could tell she was so happy about this and I thought to myself why not give this a try at least for me best friends.

I grabbed my phone seeing my notifications blowing up. I opened Instagram to see my first post getting tons of likes and comments, I was shocked to say because I can't say I ever saw this coming. I clicked on my profile and what I saw left me speechless.
