after you fully healed from the gunshot wound you spent time focusing on school. you had to buckle down so that you could catch up on all of the assignments you missed while you were in the hospital. 

you thankfully caught up before the deadline and got passing grades. 

the day of your college graduation sanzu had a meeting in the morning but he told you that he would meet you there. 

you got ready and put one of the dresses that sanzu bought you on under your gown. you put some makeup on and took an uber to the venue where it was taking place.

when you entered, you were assigned a seat number and you quickly found it and sat down. you looked around the arena to see if you could find sanzu anywhere but it was pointless since it was huge and the seats were all full.

once everyone sat down, the ceremony started. 

they did some speeches and began calling names. you tried not to fall asleep as they went on and on.

about halfway through you heard the name "maia" called. they waited for someone to come forward but no one did. 

they called her name again but still, no one came forward so they moved on. 

you felt a pit in your stomach. maia had been your best friend. you had to remind yourself of what she did and push it to the back of your mind. 

your name was finally called and you stood up. 

as you walked to the stage you heard an air horn go off and people cheering. you looked over to where it came from and saw sanzu jumping up and down, cheering. rindou, ran, and kakucho stood beside him clapping. 

you suppressed a laugh as you walked on stage and got your diploma. 

the ceremony finally ended. you left the venue and tried to find sanzu. you called him but he didn't answer. 

just as you started calling him again you felt someone's hands wrap around your waist. the person leaned down and placed a kiss on your cheek. 

you turned and saw a headful of pink hair, confirming your suspicion that it was sanzu. 

you smiled and gave him a big hug. 

"an air horn, seriously?" you laughed.

"wanted to make sure you could hear me." he shrugged with a smile on his face. 

"where are the others? i saw them with you in there." 

"they had to go back to work but they told me to tell you congratulations."

"tell them i said thank you." 

he nodded and grabbed your hand. the two of you began walking toward the parking garage. 

"i got you a few gifts." 

"you didn't have to do that." 

"it's the least i could do." he stopped walking and pulled your hand up to his mouth, placing a soft kiss on the top of it. 

"close your eyes." he stated.

you did and he flipped your hand over. you felt him place something into the palm of your hand but you couldn't quite figure out what it was. you heard him shuffle around a bit and a car door open a close before he told you that you could open your eyes.

you looked down at your hand and saw a car key. your eyes widened as you looked up at sanzu. 

he was smiling and had a bouquet of flowers in his hands. 

you looked next to him and saw that you both were standing in front of a luxury car with a bow on the hood. 

"this is way too much"

"no gift i give you could ever be enough. nothing can express how much i love you and how proud i am of you for graduating." he reached his hand out and caressed your cheek. 

you felt tears begin to well up and you let out a shaky laugh.

"is this your way of telling me that you're tired of me being your passenger princess?" you joked.

"never."

he laughed and leaned down to place a kiss on your lips.

"want to drive us home? that's where your next gift is."

"there's more!?"

"yup and the next gift is even better!" he smiled and walked to the passenger side of the car. you hesitantly got in and turned the car on. 

it felt weird being behind the wheel of such an expensive car. 

you drove the two of you back to his apartment and parked the car in his parking garage. 

when you entered the apartment, he grabbed your hand and led you to the bedroom. 

he told you to sit on the bed and went into the closet, bringing out a box. 

you opened it and pulled out a white shirt that said, "i ❤ my boyfriend". in the heart was a picture of him. 

you smiled and let out a laugh before pulling the second item out of the box. 

it was a shirt that said "i ❤ my girlfriend" and had a picture of you in the heart. 

"that ones mine." he smiled proudly. "and look i got us matching sweatpants too so the outfit is complete." he pointed into the box and there were two pairs of grey sweatpants. 

you smiled and handed him his outfit. 

you pulled him into a hug and thanked him, telling him how cute he was. 

"can we wear them now?"

he nodded his head excitedly and unbuttoned the shirt he was wearing. 

the both of you changed into your matching outfits and took a picture together in front of the mirror. 

you hugged him and thanked him again, telling him that you loved him. 

after taking some more pictures the two of you laid in his bed.

"i made us a dinner reservation at 6pm by the way." 

you looked at the clock and saw that it was almost 5pm.

"okay, let me get ready." you sat up but sanzu threw his arms around your waist.

"just go like this."

he looked up at you and you sighed. your hand reached to touch his face and you wondered how it was possible for a man to be so beautiful. 

you leaned down and placed a kiss on his lips. 

"alright."
